I would guess his bike is a factory, it has Ohlins suspension and blue anodised OZ wheels.. the aprilia OZ copies are painted??
(if his bike is equipped like the pic)

No it's a standard 2006 RSVR 1000, blarsen. All 2006 onwards RSVR came supplied with Ohlins front forks and Aprilia made OZ copy blue wheels.

rotten bastards!! Chevrolet did that with the Corvette tail lights, you could always tell the much faster ZR1 from the standard by the shape of the tail lights, after a few years they put ZR1 tail lights on all the vettes and just messed everyone up..

you could always tell an R or Factory from the standard by the Brembo wheels and cheaper forks...
I guess now you have to look at the rear shock and mud guards then...
go figure...

Thanks for all the input guys, the bike is regsitered as an RSV-R but has Ohlins rear shock and Ohlins steering damper, a couple of Oz stickers and she will look almost like a factory lol.

Hey. You got any more pics of her yet? Really wanting to see some more, beautiful bike and I recon the blue wheels look fine.

I got the white 08 which I thought was the nicest till I saw yours... muchly jealous!!

Great looking bike, and the plate is very cool. Never too much. DVLA has a similar plate for a 02 model @ £499.

i used to own a 06 rsvr the same colour really dose stand out from the rest

seen a few about but i heard that aprilia didnt make many that colour as not may people liked them , but i say there the best colour to have of that year
