How many of these are about please?

I've not seen one before on the roads and I think it looks great.

Red wheels would look so cool!

Nice purchase, see you out on a ride some time, I'm sure!

Thanks mate, I was thinking red myself.
Is there a list of meets anywhere?

Your wheels ARE real OZ wheels.. They come stock on the RSVR Factory and the older rsv-r.. they are forged aluminium, not magnesium like the race wheels...
GREAT color, way better than anything in the states..

Hi.

Thanks for the info, won't feel so bad putting Oz stickers on them now..... the pic is from an American magazine so thought it was one from your side of the water.

Steve

Yeah I don't doubt that it was in an American mag, they like to show us all the cool stuff we can't get!! And why are you reading an American mag, they are crap compared to the British ones.... plus your show naked ****ies.... (.)(.)

lol

Lol, I take your point, but I can't remember the last time I saw naked ****ies in a decent bike mag (although I suppose some would say it is the bobies that make it a decent mag lol), we are just a mini America following about 5yrs behind whatever decision you guys make like little sheep......baa

I wasn't reading the mag though, I nicked the image from Google and noticed it had motorcycleusa marked on it, is that not any good then?

Right well I shall have to come up with a stunning disguise for mine then ..............it looks like well ***** compared to yours.

or a pilgrimage to Halfrauds for some rattle cans ;-0

Lol, I almost purchased one like yours as I was getting fed up of waiting for one of these to surface, I like the twin exit pipes on yours.

only got one "spout" on my Termi can...........see your'e bike has frightened mine into a Schizophrenic !!

Oh yeah!!! I can see you have now fitted a termi now, I was looking at the original pipe. The R1 is lovely as well by the way, a local guy to me just sold a 50th anniv 2006 roberts rep to a dealer for £2800 (*****) who promptly sold it for £5199.

Very nice mate :thumbup

Agreed that the wheels should be Red to match the seat and lower fairing :biggrin

Perhaps a set of Nera wheels would be in order :devious

Nice 2006 RSVR fella, post some piccies up when you've got those Akra's fitted. Powder coated white wheels would look the biz !

Just to clarify, unfortunately your wheels are not forged aluminium Oz wheels as has been suggested. They are as you've rightly implied cheaper Aprilia copies as fitted as standard to all RSVR 1000 2006 to 2009. Only the RSVR Factory bikes came with lightweight forged OZ wheels
