Hesitation/shudder under acceleration

2004 rsvr, had this problem since I got the bike. When it gets hot outside and the bike has been running for probably 30 minutes or more it starts hesitating/jerking when accelerating at 5k rpms or more. Harder the acceleration the worse it is. I went through this last season at the end of the year and swapped out the fuel pipes in the tank, spark plugs (ngk’s) new air filter and thought I had fixed it because it stopped for the rest of the year but just started doing it all over again. Any ideas on what to check or other common areas? Does not do it if ambient temp is cooler as I have taken it on morning rides a few times this year and never had problems until this evening when it was hot and idling for extended periods of time.

I had something similar. It was water in the fuel. Ethanol in modern fuel attracts water and some times the fuel filler cap does not seal as well as it once did, so if you wash your bike water goes in the tank. I drained the tank and did a filler cap mod and its been fine since. Hope this is helpful.
