Dribble - Thats what its all about mate ;) You got good roads road your way? plod free? kneedown quality etc??

Same as dude. I had a CBR600. Spent almost 10 years riding whatever the weather as it was my only transport. Warm rain is fun but only because you dont need to go as quick to have fun! ;) Like ya self, no way am i taking the Ape in the rain, I dont like riding in anything other than dry weather now days.

SteveR - Yes m8 Somerset is a nice place to ride, I've a great ride to work in Bath when the weathers good, and i can honestly say im knee down when i can. Cops are ok too, but than again I try not to attract attention by riding like a ****! Time and a place i say. ;)

Did i mention i think GS riders are all cocks? Im sure i have!

Hmm maybe I`ll take a ride up that way sometime!

I used to work at a bike breakers in henfield when I was a youngun, mid summer 26+ everyday! bout 20mins away from me, some wicked roads up there,. I swear every morning id think "another 5mins in bed, i`m sure I knock that of the lap lol....leave later, ride faster GO GO GO!

I know exactly what you mean about the rain. Coz riding to the limits is fun, and in the rain you reach sooner at slower speeds. Since a bad accident that mentalities gone though :(

Yeh I think you may have mentioned it, I think even the term "Cocking bottom feeders" may have been used!

I can agree that the roads there are ace. I moved to east mids from chippenham at xmas and loved it down there, lived there for years. I used to race pushbikes all round the area too but the hills hurt.... you also have the added bonus of castle combe and thruxton. I raced on these (pushbikes) every week and then open road weekend. A nice road is the 350 to the coast, there are some evil little bends down there. i also liked the road across salisbury plains.

P.S. dont tell anyone else, but GS riders are butt bashing, ballbag flicking, nipple tickling COCKS !

I get up earlier so i can go go go! the roads are quieter. :) I get to work in very good time, and leave early. ;)

I will let you off for riding nobbly tyres as you a mutual feeling of respect for **** sucking GS riders. However, skinny tyres and lycra where always the way forward, i even converted a lad from the dirt to road and now he is a magazine test rider every month (in bath). As for MTBs i used to fall off them as a kid so thats why the road was for me.

Ah yeah, whats ya sons name. I work in Auto at Future, bikes are the other side of my office. ;)

As for roads riders, you dont want to get me started. I really hope you dont shave your legs?!?! Anyway, you right, we should unite against GS riders.... kin' cocks! lol

Its my mate not me son, his name is Tav, he is a really tall lanky ***** normally with stubble. If you meet him tell him jonny the burger muncher says does he still take it up the rear!!! (makes me laugh as i have a 30inch waist at 5'11) standing joke. he's a nice guy, used to be awesome at MTB still does a little bit. cheers jonny

"****" or "no ****"

wether its a total fake or just been played with i dont know but that picture aint right on a number of levels lol

Ah, wot this is, the guy did a typical stupid GS move and lost it. This is the start of a slide LOL, therefore in my opinion "****" LOL

The front does look like its folding lol.
Still i`v seen a guy on a TDM this low on a roundabout lol.

i call total fake because its generally a bodged picture, the gloves are nice colorful red, yet the arms have been total desaturated and the contrast is different

it looks to me like someone took a picture of the bike being ridden, then photoshopped in a different rider(parts of anyway) and angled it against some background road and tried to burn in a half decent shadow effect

the lighting directions are mostly correct/matching but the quality of the various parts of the photo vary greatly and the saturation issue is a dead give away, if it was trying to be color popped then why forget the background grass..?

as for this specific topic, i dont think all GS riders are cocks anymore than all sportsbike riders are, i do however think that because of the publicity the GS and similar bikes got from certain TV shows, alot of people new to the whole biking thing went out and bought them and consequently are causing problems for everyone else because they rushed into something they are not comfortable with doing in a safe fashion

threw my opinion in the mash up a few pages ago ;)

look at the left side of the picture, lots of colour and vibrance, contrast is pretty good (lines seem well defined and light and dark is not blurred into a grey mush..)
then look at the rider, very VERY grey, do grey leathers even look that colour deprived?! then look at the forearms, the red gloves have good contrast and the forearm is just a crappy mixture of greyish tones
(this is usually what happens when you mix two different pictures, they are exposed different and have different white balances etc etc)

im not an expert and i dont have the patience to do a serious investigation, but i have made alot of joke fake pictures and have learnt alot about what makes them obvious fakes and how to try and hide that fact
biggest thing is the picture resolution, if you do the work using only very high resolution pictures and then make the end product medium or low resolution its near impossible to notice if its done well

at the end of the day it doesnt matter wether its a faked picture or not, its if you believe its possible to do that on that bike and wether or not a photographer just happened to be there to capture the miracle moment.. lol
