Sure i think BM bikes are really novel and technically interesting - just a shame about the elitist mentality of the buggers that buy em.
Y' know this is a bit like the whole bmw car driver thing, I'm a trucker and the one car make guaranteed to cause an accident or near miss on the m-way is a BMW. Saw a beauty the other day - german truck pushing a 5series sideways for about 500m down the M6 - i stopped no one hurt, very red faced BM driver swearing blind he'd done nowt wrong!
BUT the machines themselves seem technically pretty good (the wisdom of rear wheel drive for the uk is lost on me though), its just that they seem to attract people who wanna shout look at me and how bad i drive. Its like keeping up with the jones's i think, i mean there are people who buy them simply because they recon it makes them appear successful! Personally i think it just means they've got no imagination.
Wow! Rant over. Guess i should be venting on fourwheeled forum somewhere. I'll make it up by posting some pics of the red mille in the garage -soon as i find the cable for the digital camera...
