As Spaniard myself, I feel very proud of the terrific performance by Pedrosa and Lorenzo and the amazing show which is each year after year Jerez :doug. Great James too, they guy's got balls, looking forward to see him with more HP and see what he can do with those. This year moto gp is looking good!

MotoGp Talks..

my respect to the spectators as well...wonder when Malaysian will appreciate MotoGP as the spaniard does..

I suppose when they get some Malaysians racing. How about it Advocatt?

we used to have a representative in the 250 with Shahrol Yuzy and a Malaysian team backed by Petronas..problem is Petronas later make a wrong decision by backing Foggy instead of continue developing/supporting Yuzy and the other Malaysian riders..

Malaysians are much concern with F1 than the MotoGP:dunno

Well were all welcome to our own opinion and i'm sorry Sergi but i can't stand Pedrosa good rider that he is i think he is a stuck up little **** who acts like a robot it will be intresting to see what happens at the next round when he's not in front of his own fans and Lorenzo i like there is a lot of passion there you can see in him what Rossi has always had a pure desire to race will all aside it's going to be a good season this year i reckon.

Of course everyone's entitled to their opinions. Pedrosa is a boring little bugger but He's a great rider, sometimes clinical but you don't want 3 championships an d finish 2nd in moto gp being a robot..

Well said Sharky, not a lover of Pedrosa (Sorry Sergi, No offence) myself and he rides a Honda :puke although the two guys on Blades that came to my rescue today and helped bump start the Millster, as having battery problems I think :jack

Well done to JT and to getting stuck in and duffing up those MotoGP boyz :thumbup

By saying he's a robot means that he just does a job with no passion when you see him on the podium at jerez there was not one smile he just stood there as to say there you go another race out of the way few more pence in the bank but a lot of the other racers would must likely race for nothing but i dont think pedrosa would do that:thumbup:thumbup

And yes by the way i do agree that he is a good rider because i've got him in my MCN fantasy road race team but thats only because he will score me points but thats a buisness decision I just don't like the fella :thumbup

Your nice an'it ya fella..:thumbup:thumbup:nana

Well guys, hate him as much as you like but He's giving all the Spaniards some thrilling weekends...You are all too young to have witnessed any British rider of his level. Hey, I'm saying this from the deepest respect as I live in Britain and I love this country, and my partner is British so I better do...I'm sure some of the guys you have in 125cc will be good in moto gp in a few years. As per passion, ok Pedrosa is not the personification of Passion but we have Lorenzo for that. Spaniards looking very good this year. Sergi :thumbup

Too young I was there watching at silverstone when the late great Barry Sheene won both his titles in 1976 and1977 and were not not taking the piss because he is Spanish by the way were taking the piss out of his personality and yes Lorenzo will be far greater than Pedrosa and dont forget that the great Barry Sheene did not have any computer aided electronics on the beasts they used to ride,so put the great Dani against the great Sheene on the bike Sheene rode in the 76 and 77 championships and there would be no race( rant over )love and peace to all

Well well, so now is all down to electronics. Ok, electronics help but not only to some but everyone, you need to be skillful to set up the bike. Every single rider has the aid of electronics, even the british.... so no excuse Sharky. Rant over, good night

I'm with Sharky, the greats like Sheene, Roberts, Agostini etc would wipe the floor with most of riders today, with the exception of a few.
Alot of the riders today do rely on electronics to much and not seat of the pants racing.
Sheene could take a piece of **** bike and bring it home on the podium, nowadays alot of the riders would be whinging about the setup not being right, of the weather being to wet, these guys are supposed to be the best in the world and they moan about a little bit of rain! Sheene just got on with it.
A good example was Casey Stoner last season, he wasnt the best rider, in fact I dont think he's that good a racer but he is the bravest, he knows that if he gives it full power coming off a turn that the bike's electronics will stop it from spinning up or sliding out of shape. To me that's not racing, it's just showcasing technology, which is a bit like F1 really.
Oh yeah I am a Barry Sheene fan, he is one of the reasons I'm on two wheels now.

Wow, what a hornets nest. Sergi is right, everyone had the same technology, some just handle it better. Myself, I hate it! Even Rossi doesn't like it - but that could be an excuse. Imagine some of these guys on the last of the 2 stroke 500s. High sides galore.
Back to the Spanish issue, Jorge certainly has the passion and the extrovert style. Happy Ped just puts me to sleep. I just like anyone who's a 'character'. Rossi, Jorge, most of the Italians (they know how to celebrate), and of course, one of the larger than life characters of all time, Barry Sheene.

Have to say I agree that Pedrosa is lacking in personality but then he lets his riding do the talking. Lorenzo's antics wind me up more but again, he is an absolutely brilliant rider.

I keep reading about how easy riding the modern bikes is with the electronics, so how come the other Ducati's are at the back of the field? Rossi is another complaining about the electronics, Yamaha have upped theirs this year, still didn't win did he. The rider still plays a massive part of winning the race. As a for instance, did anyone notice our Bradley swerve at the finish line to break the slipstream tow of the guy most likely to overtake him?

Whether we like the personalities of the riders or not, they are fantastic riders :thumbup

sete gibernau isnt he spanish?

love seing stoner getting whoooped :doug

Yes, He is Spanish and was the only one for a while to put some pressure on Rossi but this last ate him in the end :roll Sete won his last race in a thrilling final against Rossi and Rossi made a profecy. He said, Sete will never win another race...and it happened, He never won another race anymore. :dunno

Yes, that was cool. I guess he learnt those kind of tricks training in Spain. It's about time our lads learnt to play a bit on the wild side.
How about that overtake by Toseland? That made the Suzuki rider sit up didn't it?

No doubt about your other comment, Happy ped is a brilliant rider, but............
