Think I did a laterooms.com search & lamb & Flag was fully booked that weekend Bay. Plas Y dderwen wasn't. Think I mentioned they were £75.00 a room based on two sharing we'd probably get a deal if theres a few rooms. I like the idea of Abergavenny for a change but am open minded. would be nice to see some differant roads & not lead for once.
looks like theres a few of us up for the aber one its only early in the year yet so i think we should go with aber for this one and we can do a few more this year any suggestions welcome

Just having a look on late rooms & bookings .com there are limited rooms available. currentky showing two twin & two double rooms available. lamb & flag does have rooms they are showing only one of each room type.
This B&B may have about 6 rooms available & seems like it may be ideal.
This stylish bed and breakfast offers bright bedrooms, a shared kitchen, and is just 3 minutes' walk from Abergavenny Bus Station. It sits above an ice cream parlour in Abergavenny town centre.
Under new management, the modern bedrooms at Abergavenny B&B have hardwood floors and a flat-screen TV. Free tea/coffee is provided.
The kitchen is shared between 3 rooms, and has a washing machine, dryer, cooker and fridge/freezer. A self-service continental breakfast is available each day at Abergavenny Bed and Breakfast.
Abergavenny Bed and Breakfast is close to shops and restaurants, and is a 10-minute walk from Abergavenny Train Station. The Breacon Beacons National Park is easy to explore.
Price is £40 for singles & £55.00 for two sharing.
might be worth you checking it out Bay. tumble dryer may be handy if we get pissed wet through.

ye thats the one mick the rooms look good in the pics but like i say i think we should book it asap if we are going to aber before the rooms go
No I'm not a **** head FD, you seem to have that title in your locker.
And I didn't slag you off either.
I'll go with the flow, Aber will do for the first one this year.
I think I know the one and the ice cream parlour is closed now. Only issue u can see with this one would possibly be lack of parking Seeing as it's on 1st floor and the nearest parking to it would be the bus station. I'd look on Hereford road b&b's to be honest as like I said it's close to my gaff.

Thjere's also premier inns at Cwmbran or Pontypool.
looking at that Abergavenny guest house there's mixed reviews basically a flat with shared facilities & HELP YOURSELF BREAKFAST. pay when you get there & get left too it. Can be a bit noisy as it's close to a kebab shop & the bus station. Not really clear how many rooms there are but if you could check it out Bay it would be an idea. Negative comments are from people complaing about street noise and shared facilities. Would that matter. I tend to get pissed & pass out so not too bothered about quality of the experience & may be suitable for a bunch of hairy arsed bikers just getting pissed. Kebab shop close by would be right handy.

Parking would be an issue then especially with piss heads. take a look on laterooms.com & bookings.com Bay as you have a better idea. how many people are showing an interest now I'm not really sure.

Rooms are going as we post plas Y derwen & lamb & flag now down to one room each. We could be struggling unless Bay knows of anywhere else.
Lots of nice curry houses. I'll send a few e-mails tomorrow. Not really sure who's going either.

That's the problem with Internet & texting things can get taken the wrong way especially with poor/lack of grammer & understanding of propper grammer. I often get thoughts going through my head about how threads are being read or how I've interpreted & taken especially when you're trying to be funny or a bit provocative.
These forums as well as being helpful & informative etc etc are also a social network site just like face book twitter etc & I think most peoples intentions are genuine. I think a lot of people hust need to relax a bit & try taking things a little less seriously FFS life is too short to get wound up about **** all. What say you Welly you're a genius when it comes to winding people up.

Yes you could Mick but it's about a 15 to 20 min walk from mine to the b&b you're talking about. I'm not much for walking me mate. Ps I'll have a word with the black lion guest house if and when I know definite numbers.

Spot on tricky, my spelling and grammar are certainly not the best. Wales is a little to far for me at mo, I only get a few passes per year from the boss (Mrs fighter), and I have used up most of 2012 privileges on 7 nights at TT in June. Would still like to meet a few at Scarborough in September if possible, we will see nearer the time. fD
