Do I ride a Tuono cos I'm getting old?????

Theme goin oan here wi the high 40s gang. Ricos 49 goin oan a 108 wi the week ahv had at work.

Shame it took me ower 30 years tae finally find the bike that does it all fur me. Been through a puckle mosickles includin GS850G, Goldwing, Z400J, SR500, Pan Euro, GPZ900R, Ducati900SS (great in its day) GT750, RSV-R, GSX1400 TDM850, tae name but a few so reckon got enuff tae compare.

Bonners, u tried stickin a card oan the board in Asda yet fur sellin that rid n white thing

I'm 33 now. I bought a VFR at 29. Bought the Tuono at 33. Some people think I'm an old man. I have ridden all kinds of sport bikes but love naked, upright bikes. I'm in Los Angeles where Duc Monsters are a dime a dozen, plus maintenance woes scared me off and for the money here, the Aprilia stomps it. My bike looks rare even in LA which has everything. It's loud, mean, black and fast. I love Triples and waiting for Honda to bring the CB1000 or 1300 back to the USA. Until then, I'm happy with my new (2005) bike.

Mate the Honda 1000'RR hasent got what the gen 2, T has , Had a toe to toe with one up the A1 a cupple of weeks ago I thort they were saposed to be quick , I dident need to even try on the T , the honda ran out of puff at a 140'mph I puld parst him at 150'mph in fith gear snicked it into sixth and ****** off ;) . Oh I AM 45 going on 20  Yes I do ride like a **** on the road ,it makes me feel alive ;) .

I was 33 when I got mine. I actually found it by accident. I went to test a RSV and didnt fancy it. I wasnt keen to but the salesjockey convinced me to try a T. Say no more...

It's a full on sprorts bike but with the riding position that allows me to wrestle it. With modern race reps I increasingly felt like a passenger

Same as most of you, served my time back when you cud still ride a 250 on L plates, mostly had naked bikes LC250 an 350 GS750 Z750, Z1000, had a few plastic rockets too but went back to a 955 spedd triple, brill bike, then got the T in may this year, don't think i'll ever want to get rid, love the power an the noise, ps i'm 46 on 19th december, still feel like i'm 17 on this thing, oh the heady days of mis spent youth.

Yep I'm an ould codger 53. I've had my T for two years now, that kind of puts me at the older end of owners. Most of you know me and i'm one super fud for most of the time but when i sling ma creaky old bones onto ma T and fire her up Mr Fud makes a hasty exit and the real me enters. Suppose that why i go for 600mile runs I just don't want it to end. That's whit ma T means to me it transforms me from fud to adrenalin junky and i always want more.

a bocht ma firt tuono when a wis abot 35, by pure chance ah'd just selt a blade 1000 efter twa month o hain it as a fancied a change, an a neebur wis sellin his gen1 , filly loaded, wi pc arrow system, gillies rearsets aw the bits at a guid price, so a bocht it an blew the ither twa grand on drink an doity hoors,,,,,, thats no strictly true as ahm no a big drinker :)

O dear it does look like I might be one of the oldest on here apart from Nob....

Had the usual jap stuff CBR,Fazer,Z750,Z1000, and then onto the T. Still got my lovely ZRX1200. Keeping that as well.
Now on the way to be an OAP. But my head says I'm 40.
Since having the T my mates say I'm nearly 5 mph faster...is that good?
