I had the older V-strom 1000 58 model, did alittle tinkering, had K&N airfilter with straight through GPR cans TRE and power commander with custom map. Jacked up the rear by 10mm and Batlax 023's tyres.
Superb machine handling defys physics. even with the jack up you can still scrap the pegs. only reason I got rid of it was to fund the T. Would have another one, just need to convince the other half.
 
turns out its not cracked but the previous owner had cracked it and had it welded :confused dealer has checked the weld and all is well to pick up the bike tomorrow and take it back when the new part arrives from Guzzi to have it fitted at the dealers expense :thumbup.
 
picked up the Stelvio today and first impressions are good :thumbup

It's a nice bike, can't wait to see it blinged up a bit.

Goes well and sounds nice - a sort of grown up Tuono.:thumbup

It's a cracking bike and Mr B took to it like a duck to water.
Look forward to a few runs out and catch up with a few other "dodgy" characters. :thumbup

:yes Mr A shes a big girl and takes a bit of moving about in the lab but when once moving its like riding a magic carpet :yes cant wait to get a good run out so next good weekend me thinks a run up to Scotland will be on the cards :thumbup
 
I'm up for a dodge north of the border, but am away in the covered wagon from next Monday till Saturday.
