Coming back to bikes after 20yrs decided to buy myself a Millie, middle age madness. Anway got up early this morning riding around east London notice temperature gauge up to 91 in slow speeds and 82 when your moving along a bit faster whats the normal running temperature. One more question I found the clutch a bit heavy is this normal and the back brake a bit useless. The real bummer after only a couple of hours got cramp in right leg and wrist ache but looking forward to tomorrow. Hope the wife dosn't check the garage and find out I bought a bike, anyway if she does I can tell her its a 125 she wont know the difference.

MPL slave clutch unit makes the clutch lighter and the rear brake needs bleeding correctly, the rear brakes are not perfect but you dont need a sharp rear brake anyway

Smart move buying the Mille! :thumbup

Mines at 95 degrees in slow moving traffic/towns etc... and around 76 - 80 degrees on the move.

+1 for the MPL slave as it reduces the effort required by 25% or more.

Chances are the back brake just needs a good bleed, see the how to section for a definitive guide on how to do it successfully.

your cramps will go with more riding me finks . you need to build up your muscles with use . my neck aches at start of spring for a couple of weeks until i get used to it again (dont ride my baby in winter/wet have hack for that) .
