i know little1uk has a deposit down. I'm toying with the idea, but its doubtful i'll pull the trigger before the California Bar Exam.

Who else is considering it?

More than happy with the Vtwin, Maybe in 2 or 3 years when the price has come done but will still keep my Rsv

as soon as the issues have been ironed out im at it like a rat up a drain pipe!

The problem is the other lad that works here, Roy is really fast, really, really fast! and it really grits my stool to be beaten by anyone let alone Roy , cos iall i hear is the constant torment at work! He's got a really fast 98 R1 160 bhp so ive gotta work hard to keep up!

just tell mrs griff!

not me :biggrin I don't like the look of it (might grow on me over time :devious ) but if I was to get another 4 cylinder it would be an R1 for performance and handling or MV F4 312 for looks.

Not me ....but I quite like them , function over design for me :) (I do have a birthday soon so if anyone feels like they want to buy me a present).

The KTM RC8R at this years bike show was the only sports bike that i felt comfortable on. It's a decent size and is very adjustable. At 6ft 2" all the Japanese bikes are just way too small for me. It's like a monkey riding a scooter. There are still a few nigly issues with the RC8 that need to be ironed out but certainly if i was to change my bike and i'm not, i would have to consider one.

Unfortuanatley there was no Aprilia RSV4 at the show to compare, although Griff aka Fusebox at the Club Aprilia stand had the only image of one at the show. Good work fella :thumbup

By the way Griff whose was that mega high mileage RSV SP on the stand?

Spoonz!, you really that tall? or is it just a perspective thingy?
I do like the 848, esp the lack of weight and the pearl white c. scheme.

I've ridden both the RC8 and the 848 and the difference is worlds apart, RC8 was absoloutely awful didn't like the riding position, the fueling was ***** ................. bla bla bla. The 848 was on the other hand an absoloutely amazing bike - I loved every second of the ride and it handled so well, if money permited I'd have one tomorrow. :thumbup

the new 2009 r1 sounds amazing and going to be very tough act to follow this year - 'grunt and character of a v twin power of a il4 '-mcn
