Which is best millie

Legs,
As I mentioned on the older models you can feel the V twins engine a lot better, the newer ones seem to have a more fluid like feel to them as then spin up, when you exit a corner you can feel the engine pulstaing pushing you forword, I think on the later models they change the cam profile to make the engine smoother as per IL 4's or tripples for that fact.
There's nothing wrong with the later models, I can only compare them to the Honda Fire Blade, when that fist came out it had an agressive engine which they smoothed over time,
Has for the torque and power of the engines it all depends on what dyno your using!

True there are difference in figures produced by different dyno's but the rotax vtwin has been upgraded and refined over the years. The original 1998 to 2000 version gettting a revamp in 2001 with more power and torque throughout the rev range. Another upgrade in 2003 with a revised shorter ratio gearbox. The new model RSVR again had some revisions to the cylinder head and again in 2006 for more power. As for the earlier engine pulsating, i suspect this is more down to an incorrect fueling set up more than anything else. The engine management systems on the later bikes are more refined with better fuel management through revised injectors and faster ECU control speeds resulting in a smoother engine feel but still distinctively a vtwin.

The 06 black factory for me is the best. The most terrifying thing is to accept is i can't sleep with it. I hope Aprilia is sorting a nut house for cronic rsv syndrome.
