What's going on with my dashboard?!?!?!?!??!!?

First time Italian bike owner, first time member on here! Hello all!
Just bought a 2004 rsv1000r , ran great when I test drove. Bought it, took her home, then the first ride i took more than 15 minutes this happened. dash board running fint then the shift light comes on, well under the shift rpm limit, the triangle with the "!" comes on, the kickstand light comes on, then the rpm needle drops to zero, and where it reads the temp reads error. Then after about five seconds it acts normal again, thane after a bit 3-10 seconds it does it all over again. The performance of the bike didn't seem to change. I checked the kickstand switch there was a bare wire I insulated it with liquid electrical tape and wrapped it however it still happens. it doesn't seem to do it everytime I ride it after the first time it didn't do it for the next couple short rides then yesterday It did it again. it does it whlen driving and sometimes when at idle. I tired to attatch a video but was unable to post an ,mp4 file...….PLEEEEEASE ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED.!!!

I just signed up to this forum, (RSV1000R). I noticed a lot of posts get no replies. Sorry, I have no comment on your issue. But I suspect we have to rely on the few dealer around.

Multiple failures - i would start with looking at earth connections. Also, there are two wires attached to the positive terminal of the battery on the same connector as the main battery terminal. Perhaps cut them off and reterminate infividually. They were bad on my bike.
