What would make the T better

If that pisses you off enough to spend money there are a couple of possible cures.

1. Change the "jet" in the clutch - Aprilia Performance Products sell the part. I think the man to contact is Griff on RSVZone and AF1

2. Fit an enhanced slave cylinder MPL, EVO or Oberon. I have MPL (needs new seals after 4 years) Windy has EVO - Mogster? had Oberon

3. Fit a new shaft & detent spring - the post 07 models have weaker springs - Factorypro.com sell an Evo shift STAR kit for $200 that is supposed to be the puppies privates.

I find it's easiest to pick neutral from second - it's cheaper.

Got an MPL m8 :thumbup

ohlins as standard on all T's, double bubble screen, a side stand and rear brake that work.... Also A lighter clutch would be fantastic

finding neutral is easier when rolling. Rolling what? Pastry, money, tarmac.....

What would make the T better

How about a horn that sounds like a horn.
When I push mine I say it’s not me honest.
Most embarrassing.
I can shout louder than that thing.

The R model needs a better quality rear shock.
The seat humps should be standard
It should come with 2 sizes of screen.

A rear brake would be a nice touch.
Maybe some integral master cylinder/reservoirs on the bars.

Colour scheme - Apes are always bonkers so I guess we have to live with it.

Power wise for a naked road bike it's got plenty, if I am honest.
Switchable maps - wet/road/track would be good if the engine got more poke.

mpg is entirely a factor of your right wrist. My wife gets 150+ out of a tank full.
I dont. :rolleyes

Seat - I have taken the "many pies" route to padded comfort. :dunno

Better range - ie a bigger tank as long as it still looks nice.

I would like the "factory" to include fully adjustable rearsets, variobars and a full "set-up" service in the price. So once it's run in you could tailor the riding position, suspension etc to your taste.

Looks wise I think the T is still pretty good, cans are a bit big, but the rest of it still looks better than most naked bikes.

MPG - Depends on your wrist... yawn. Still needs a bigger tank!

Switchable modes - Again... depends on your wrist. This switchable mode stuff is lame and will soon be history with anti dive forks and Harleys. If you feel the need to switch on a poof setting go buy a vespa. :kicknuts

OOOOhhhh my god 1500 posts. Must be addicted eh :lol

IF we could do anything OR ask Aprilia to do anything with the new T what would it be ?
Bigger engine ?
Black frame ?
Better seat ?
Better mpg ?
What about Full Fairings and low bars:yes:dunno

If the Tuono was a dog, it would keep trying to shag Ducati's whenever your back was turned :)

I often ponder why it is so hard to find neutral when stopped (even from second) but, then when I am hammering it past some dude on the motorway, it manages to find neutral between 5 and 6?? Makes me sound like a right naff poser. Go figure. Maybe I am.

Still, I ride mine every day and that makes it all worth while (and stops me going postal on everyone at work).

Rear brake. I very nearly flipped out two days back.

Any one on here got a REAL fix...? i.e not a good bleed and 500 miles later repeat...

Best I have seen is a rearset that relocates the master cylinder And re-route the brake line to avoid gas traps.

or you could buy that Vespa? :dunno
