OOOOhhhh my god 1500 posts. Must be addicted eh :lol

IF we could do anything OR ask Aprilia to do anything with the new T what would it be ?
Bigger engine ?
Black frame ?
Better seat ?
Better mpg ?

The R model needs a better quality rear shock.
The seat humps should be standard
It should come with 2 sizes of screen.

A rear brake would be a nice touch.
Maybe some integral master cylinder/reservoirs on the bars.

Colour scheme - Apes are always bonkers so I guess we have to live with it.

Power wise for a naked road bike it's got plenty, if I am honest.
Switchable maps - wet/road/track would be good if the engine got more poke.

mpg is entirely a factor of your right wrist. My wife gets 150+ out of a tank full.
I dont. :rolleyes

Seat - I have taken the "many pies" route to padded comfort. :dunno

Better range - ie a bigger tank as long as it still looks nice.

I would like the "factory" to include fully adjustable rearsets, variobars and a full "set-up" service in the price. So once it's run in you could tailor the riding position, suspension etc to your taste.

Looks wise I think the T is still pretty good, cans are a bit big, but the rest of it still looks better than most naked bikes.

Larger tank for better range, can't see the mpg gettiig better on a twin. Better electrics.
Poss a tad more power, but to be honest I'm happy enough with mine. A better back brake - not that it gets used much, just for mot time. Think thats about it, I'll come back if I can think of anythong else

Good shout on the back brake, I often use mine (or at least I try to)

A better side stand would be good

Thicker front brake discs to stop warping (no problems with mine but my Mille was bad)

Brighter gold frame for the Factory's? :eek

The usual gripes fixed....
Side stand, back brake and more adjustability in that rear shock. Power, styling and ergonomics are spot on for me.

Other than that, hmmm, maybe a bit more storage space under the seat, optional taller screen as standard for us lanky buggers.

The indicator switch where it should be and the horn switch in the right place, dont think most folk understand my 1 toot for right two toots for left and the **** in the astra never heard me indicate at him

Good point - forgot about that, could be cos I aint been on it for soooo long now

The only niggle for me is getting the gearbox into neutral when stationary, especially when cold. It's usually up into 2nd and then down again.
As for the rest of the T, I love it the way it is - if I wanted smoothness and no character I'd have bought a Honda.

If that pisses you off enough to spend money there are a couple of possible cures.

1. Change the "jet" in the clutch - Aprilia Performance Products sell the part. I think the man to contact is Griff on RSVZone and AF1

2. Fit an enhanced slave cylinder MPL, EVO or Oberon. I have MPL (needs new seals after 4 years) Windy has EVO - Mogster? had Oberon

3. Fit a new shaft & detent spring - the post 07 models have weaker springs - Factorypro.com sell an Evo shift STAR kit for $200 that is supposed to be the puppies privates.

I find it's easiest to pick neutral from second - it's cheaper.

Some decent comments their men. Think the best one, and it aint a mod as such, is getting the thing set up proper after a couple of weeks. Makes sence. Not much point in having a full on machine tricked up to fook if you don't know how to get the best out of it eh !

The bike goes into neutral easier from second gear, than it does from first.

Doing that is cheaper than a $200 factory pro selector, or a £130 clutch slave etc.
