Well if you find trickymicky's new post possibly end of July?

Staying over in his pub. Riding best roads in mid-Wales followed by many beers. Gotta be up for that!

That's 'cos they are smooth as silk. It's all about perception: from the cockpit they are man and machine in perrrrrfect harmony, from half a mile back they are dodgy as you like. Mind you the headlight-flashing buffoons in the Cotswolds yesterday didn't seem to appreciate my demonstration of Italian mo'cycle perfection. Asshats.

25 yards not half a mile but yes I take your point. I screwed up an overtake today, had to brake and tuck back in. Bloody cars. How dare they ruin our rides.

It happens to all of us. I had one ropey one yesterday, hammered past a car on a long steady left hander, perfect visibility, car coming the other way but plenty of space. Discovered that T's don't like tightening their line whist accelerating flat out at 9000rpm, and that when you do get it to turn in more and then hit the cats eyes it can get a tad squirelly for a while.

Even up close you look dodgy as **** ;)

I wish I'd seen that overtake by mark. Sounds pretty bad. Luckily no one hurt though and he did say that both him and the car driver gave each other a little wave after. New bike being run in see. Those triumphs are fast as **** and the engine is just peachy. Was a nice looking bike. I like the exhaust on them.

Apart from zippys photography skills the days riding was a success. Can't say much for the eating places. Either too posh (3 Aston martins I counted after we pulled out of the car park) or just a big run down. Good job they weren't serving food cos I prob wouldn't have eaten there anyway. Mind you it did have that lovely car park to the side. Very well maintained indeed with nice pebbled drive. Could have been somebodys drive and garden. Oh **** yes it was someones drive and garden we pulled into and thought it was the pub car park. 9 tuonos pulling into someones drive and trying to park up in the front garden. They must have thought what the **** lol.

Weather not best on way back to Aber as Stix said but sat back having a coffee at the bikers stop sun came out and it was roasting. Had to ride home and crack open a San Miguel I was so hot.

Another resounding welsh ride out success!!!

Funny **** right there BAY

All us packing into that little front garden and vying for position under the tree to keep the rain off .... then some peeps struggling to walk their Ts backwards in the 3" deep gravel ...

As for the pub ... you did eat there ya fud ... I saw you tucking into a hearty spread of 2 x bags of nuts and a Pepperami!

As we left the posh (Aston Martin) pub did you clock the staff member standing with arms crossed in the door way and scowling like **** at us?

I saw that **** yes. If it wasn't raining I might have stopped, the little prick.

The car park that wasn't was funny. The bit under the tree was big enough for about 2 bikes if that, so I didn't bother & went to the side.

Oh, and he didn't have 2 bags of nuts as he kindly gave one to me :)

Yesterday's menu:

9:30 - Rice Krispies & toast at home

Lunch - bag of nuts in strange tiny pub with people with weird accents

Tea - Dairy Milk in Aber bus stop

Dinner - Sunday roast back home (**** it was lovely after not eating all day properly).

I know how to eat in style ;)

Thought it was just some guy looking at us all pulling off. The clientele might have Aston martins mate but don't make them better people and I bet they didn't have as much fun as us yesterday

If I'd seen the staff member doing that I'd have given him a hand gesture me thinks. I had a healthy tea of smoked fish and baked potato whilst reading all the posts about my nose and colourful choice of t shirt.

****** & I carried on to Bridgenorth & Much wenlock got pissed on then called in at the Hand & Diamond for a nice grilled Chateaubriand-Bearnaise sauce with fresh market vegetables & pommes de terre & a nice bottle of cabernet Syrah followed by fruits of the forest pavlova & chantilly cream. woz quite exqusite.:satisfied:beerchug
