2004 (04 plate) Aprilia RSV Tuono in excellent condition, having done just 3,950 miles and with full history, (mileage may increase slightly).

Previous owner had this bike since June 2005 (549 miles on it), it was pre-registered at Mott Motorcycles, and then one of their Technicians did a deal with this against a 0% new ZX10 at Pegasus Kawasaki.

The previous owner treated this as a cosseted obsession, keeping this bike with his others in a heated, carpeted garage, and using more polish than petrol! I recently took ownership of the bike after selling my Mille R in favour of Tuono comfort. However, after a short period of ownership and 1,000 miles I have not taken to the upright riding position and want to get back to the sports bike riding position.

Bike is taxed until end of September 2014. MOT until March 2015 (no advisories).

MOT mileages are as follows:
  • March 2014 - 2,962
  • July 2012 - 2,962
  • July 2011 - 2,922
  • June 2010 - 2,732
The previous owner took it for it's MOT in his van so no miles to and from the test centre. The service history shows the major service done at 2,249 miles - in 2006! It has had the oil & filter, brake, and clutch fluids changed annually. The previous owner runs a high quality tool company, so has a very good appreciation for engineering and looks after his bikes.

It has some extras fitted; Renthal alloy rear sprocket, 1 tooth smaller gearbox sprocket, alloy radiator guards, R&G paddock stand bobbins, R&G bar ends, R&G front axle sliders, oil cooler and radiator guards, stainless fixings on fairings, Aprilia Performance clutch oil jet (gets neutral very easy), black crash bungs.

It is an incredibly low mileage bike and exceptionally well looked after. There are some stone chips on it, but only what should be expected from a fast road bike. The original full size legal number plate is currently fitted to the bike along with the standard reflector. Sale includes the small plate and holder shown in the photo.

When new, the bike was fitted as standard with white crash bungs, these are included in the sale and are unmarked. The black ones were fitted purely for looks given it's a black bike! The original tool kit is still under the seat. The photos were taken around 1 month ago and since then a clear light protector has been fitted, and a couple of decals added which I am more than happy to remove for the new owner if required.

All original bills, MOTs, spare keys, handbooks, sales brochure etc., are included as well as HPI certificate. This is a real nice, unmolested bike, and must be the cleanest and best looked after V twin Tuono for sale right now.

Viewing near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire is welcome with a bit of prior notice. No test rides without full payment in cash.

Damn that thing is sexy! if you're having a problem with the riding position why don't you get clip ons? I have them and its a little uncomfortable at first but I think it looks better and more aggressive.
