Not saying that it wouldnt be an improvement without as i havent seen one like that ...yet - but i would have thought that a longer stand at the same angle as the UK one would make things worse ?

I think Tricky is using a Fireblade stand he bought from Ebay Germany.

Yeah I got fireblade stand think it is 2003 - 2008 model or something like that, there is a previous thread somewhere as this topic does ncome up every 3 or four months with the fresh batches of newbies.
 
Just put an 06 fireblade stand on mine and it's way more stable, but I think it's slightly more upright so don't know what will happen if it gets a puncture?
