Throttling bodies....

yeah, balance the TB's first, it will help a bit.(cant remeber what but there is another reason why..theres a long post on the AF1 forum about 54 and 57TB's and take a look)
My 02 with 57TB's sits better at a higher idle (as they do for the track), round about 1.8-2k rather than the 1.2. My needle still moves abit, but the improvement in perf was worth it, though I cant say that about the fuel consumption...or sucking rabbits from hedges:pirate

Thanks for the info CK. It was idling around 1700-1800 after I fitted the bodies so no problem there. However, being a dimwit I decided to have a play with the throttle cables yesterday to make sure it wasn't an adjustment issue...great idea for a Sunday morning before a rideout....except numbnuts here did his age old trick of just one more turn and promptly snapped said throttle cable thread :jack There endeth Sundays riding plans :roll

Managed to pick up a new cable today, so all fitted, TB's balanced by ear, not the best way I agree, but it'll do for now, and all seems well and good :doug

Seeing as Sunday was a blow out, I took a peak in the ecu to check the chip. Pic below, any clues? From a search around the net it looks like it is an American based one? :dunno
