The Italians have christened it "Chicken Little"

Dont look too bad from that l/h side pic,.....not sure about it head on though.Hoping there will be one we can clamber all over at the NEC.

I like the silver.

Looks like the fairing is fixed to the frame rather than the bars/forks.

I am not too sure about this!!! Any idea how much?? Will there be a standard / r model with all the kit?

The ram air is a little odd and may take me a little while to get used to. I still like it. Took a while tae get used to the Gen II. Give it a chance, Nob. Methinks it may grow on you. Think of the "golden" opportunity you would have to bling it out with the signature Nob touches. And thanks for the other pics, Paul. 'Preciate it...

I'm sure i read it will be about £10.5k in the UK. Not cheap and out of my financial reach.

I like it. Well. I think so, at least. Never can tell until you see one for real.

Irrelevant anyway as I can't afford it!

i'm sure it would be a great thing to ride just needs a brown paper bag over her head

Ya know,the more I look at it,....the more I'm getting to like it.I'm skint,so I wont be buying,....but I can drool.
We have only seen the R version so far,I'd be really interested in what the V4 Factory looks like. That could be summat special,....as long as they dont paint the fookin frame gold!

Probably £2k dearer too.

You boys have got a year to save up for one , aparentley you whont get one till this time next year

nup.. the mair ah look at it that bulgin heidlight/fairing unit is way to much. Its nearly hingin oot beyond the mud guard....

Just for nob... now wheres my smoochie??

2011-Aprilia-Tuono-V4.jpg

A V4 tuono, what's not to like? Ok, so looks are not to all tastes but to be honest neither are the gen 1 or 2, my mate still calls my gen 2 a transformer! I quite like the new one but my concern is the bike is just a mildly detuned rsv4, which lets face it is near enough a race bike. The tuono to me should be a comfortable street bike, ala straight bars et al, and that you can track if you so wish. I rarely do a track day, although 2011 will be time to do a few, and i ride daily, so 160hp on the street is just a total waste, as it stands I rarely get the chance to use the 120hp available. The idea of some electronic safety aids i like but this is again too track focused, with all the different electronic settings.

if I wanted a track focused bike it would not be a 'naked' that snaps your neck when wind get past 90 nor with straight bars!! this kinda misses the point for me.!!! I reckon it will be out priced also, hear rumours of 10.5k for the R, which is 2 cheaper than the rsv4 R but the v4T has more electronic aids, so i doubt this price will be correct I reckon on between 11-12k which puts it way above the competition.
shame..
