Top of the day to ya! lads and Lasses,
Well I,m thinking of doing the unthinkable. Just when i look at the threads with the turbo Rsv and Grith's super charger. Guys comming down today to other me bucks for my babe. As I'm considering the unthinkable, a 1198s.Give me some sound advice please, I can't have the RSV4 as I just love twins. All I have to do is call the dude and say nah! nah! nahhhhhhh!

Mate!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What the hell are you thinking, the 1198 has had so many problems why would you want to buy into it?
Ok it looks nice and maybe not as common as the RSV but it still aint your beautiful ape is it.
Stick with her mate, you know you want to. Bikes are like women, you see one and think it's better than the one you have at home, you get rid of your trusty (maybe not as pretty) old one, then two years down the line (maybe sooner with the 1198) you realise the new one is the same as the old one really and it wasn't really worth the aggro.

Went to my local dealer yesterday, they are desperate to sell 1198's even offering free servicing so make sure you get a good deal! good luck

Buy a 848 instead ...........far better road bike. and with the change get an older RSV best of both worlds.

If you don't get it, you'll always wonder if you did the right thing :dunno at least if you get one and don't like it you will have got it out of your system, sell it and get another mille :thumbup
