Still won't start

a low current led will pick up the injection pulse enough to see it flash as a quick test.

i still think an ecu failure would have other symptoms and probably the eeprom as well but it's worth a try. most of the other obvious things have been covered.

not alarmed is it ?

got plenty of LEDs around, gonna try that after i fix the darn fuel leak i have now... at the injector/t-body... I was sure it was put together good...

I will say this, of all the bike I've rebuilt... from the crank-case up... this "simple" problem has frustrated me more than all the others combined...

But it's the journey to the solution that's the greatest reward... right... I'll keep thinking that:):exclamation

I see where you are going Spoonz with the alarm question but every time an alarm is fitted by a professional they would eliminate the pump circuit not the injectors. (But worth checking out just in case)

Many years ago I had a similar issue on a TVR I was rebuilding, that turned out to be an ECU failure. Everything controlled by the ECU worked fine apart from the injector driver circuit, spent many hours figuring that one out.

Been looking through the manuals I have and cannot see if the injectors are 12v or 5v. If I was to air on the side of caution I would say 5v so don't go sticking a 12v feed directly on them, could cause them to burn out.

Once you have confirmed that the alarm/immobiliser is working fine and has not caused this issue then I think we can safely say it has to be an ECU failure.

if there is no injector pulse the ecu has to be fav i guess. weird it went away working and came out not though.

at least ecu's seem to be going cheap on flea bay these days.

Reason i asked about the alarm is they often tap into the 12v circuit in the wrong place. it can cause issues with taking current away from the ecu. been reported a few times on here i think with Datatool jobbies.

Just a thought but it is your ECU that the bike has fitted, isn't it?

Mines all marked up with my chassis no, is yours or was yours?
