well, after a bolt from the rotor came loose (long story but my fault anyway) and made a total mess of my stator i ordered a new one from aprilia. living in romania it takes a month to get here from aprilia, i don't know exactly why. anyway. in my garage i have a 1996 xv535, a vx800, a 1997 bmwf650 and a 2000 aprilia pegaso. sitting around about a week ago and having some beers, after reading different forums we decided to open up the bikes. guess what? ALL the above bikes have the exact same stator, as found on the internet. so i can vouch for the said models that they WILL fit the rsv. in the meantime i've bought a second-hand vx stator that works a charm (15.2 without lights at the battery terminals, 14.1 on the dash at tickover after the brown wire mod and an extra earth cable). still waiting for the "aprilia" part (which is in fact denso as many of you know) but i'll use it only if the vx one burns out.
basically what i'm trying to do is to make a small topic with CONFIRMED stators that work on the rsv. above you have what i can vouch for. anyone knows other confirmed bikes?
