Sorry in advance for a daft question, but I aint got one, or seen one, so I don`t know....

I`ve got a 2010 T, so it didn`t come with a seat cowl. Now as I`m wanting one, I see them advertised on ebay etc..., but some state that they are a cover-only, so what`s that about ?

My last Ape before this one was a 2004 RSVR, and that had a full seat cowl that you just took off and replaced with the pillion seat as you wished; so is the one for the Tuono not like that ? :dunno

Aye..watch oot for some o the offers oot there.. Indeed all u will get is a outer skin which u will need tae find a base for. Nae sure if the original seat base will take a cowl skin. Seems mair trouble than its worth tae try anyway. The proper Aprilia ones have a nice wee handy cubby hole fur holdin yer odds an ends in like a visor cleaner, tyre pressure gauge etc.

Also watch out on some, as the mounting rubbers can be positioned differently and sit at different heights. Ah bought a carbon Aprilia job an had tae swap 2 o the rubbers frae ma original pillion seat tae get it tae sit an lock properly.

They are definitely oot there if ye keep diggin!

I got my rear seat cowl from an aprilia dealer - delivery can be slow and not the cheapest but the quality, colour & fit should be right - paid £58.55 for mine

Try ringing round you may find someone has the colour you want in stock

There is some iffy stuff on Ebay - cheaper isn't always best

Bloody 'ell that were cheap.I paid £89 for mine last year at Taz.I saw on another site that the 'proper' list price was around £150 for the complete kit.(Cover, base and fixings.)
