My seat cover is getting really tatty, I took the seat off the other day and noticed that the material is all starting to part on the underside. It won't be long before it tears and starts flapping around in the wind.

I wish I was a millionaire as I would have one of those beautiful Sargent seats, but alas I'm not rich.

Has anyone got the skills or know someone who has the skill to produce seat covers for our beloved machines?

PS. If anyone doesn't know what I mean by Sargent seat then - Click Me

Blimey they are pricey:eek2 can only suggest find some one who repairs car/camper van seats and interias if its any help

I repaird mine Alan

I got an electric stapler and stretched the exsisting cover round the sides and stapled it back in place.

Then I went round the edges with a ligter to braze all the loose threads.

Perfect

Good idea, will give it a go but was really looking for someone with the skills to make a cover that's a little different from the norm.

Bit of piping, with perhaps a British flag!!

Someone here must be a whizz with a sewing machine, come on own up I promise if anyone takes the piss I'll set my missus on them.
