Scottish Ride OOOT 3

I think the lot of yous thats left should come up to knockhill to cheer me on on saturday booked up today and guess wot ive only been put in the advanced section ****** brickin it, just been oot the back taken all the mirrors indicators pillion pegs and number plate hanger off so at least she's lookin like a race bike ,theres meant to be a few racers in the group so no pressure then, the last trackday i was on i was faster than a few of the so called advanced guys so it'll be fun cmon you never know you's might get the bug tae.....Happy 40ith Gary m8 ........
 
happy birthday young man when it comes gary :thumbup: catchin up on me lol sunday 7th aug should be ok for me if its gonna be nice weather . i was in Inveraray on sunday there looked out for you pat .then up to tyndrum crackin day i had was just myself behaved all day i did lol . so guys we need numbers for the 7th get a good group together and make a day of it dont care where we end up as long as the weathers good ... oh and bryan try and save some tyre rubber for the 7th if your coming mate :)

I was away in the other direction south to campbeltoon,I tent not to go to Inveraray on a sunday

*** **** coont arse ,guys my power loss is back again defo seems like fuel prob or lack of it .doing my head in .is there a filter inside the petrol tank ? could be that if it has one . need to bang yer heeds the gither guys help me find this problem any sugesties would be great..... strange how it was fine all day sunday
 
dirty injectors mabey,or an electrical fault,bring it up,I'll take a look.
 
cool pat but not sure if it would make the trip ,i will take the tank off and look for **** there .not to sure about a electrical fault but you never know it is italian lol heres hope`n its in the tank
 
Wot did you do to the bike on sunday m8 maybe youve moved something that had a loose connection sounds like yer no to far away from it atall ....
 
Guys, here is a change of direction for ya on the 7th, my home town is having what is Scotlands biggest street bike show, some good roads for you to get here too, the whole main street of the town is closed all day for bikes, it is not a custom bike show but there will be a broad spectrum of bikes, mostly sport from what i can see.

Sonds good to me m8 and i haven't even got the ape anymore i'm just hanging around here like a bad smell,anyone up for it like biff says i'll have to keep some tyres and some petrol but i can see the mrs having a whinge after this weekend lol

hi guys found this on another site i gave it a try and guess what fault codes came up diag 0 **** really wanted to find a fault so it must be a fuel problem gonna take tannk off give it a good clean inside and any filters thats there se if i can fix the farker

biff......diag 0 means your TPS is aligned up just fine. If it was needing adjustment it would have read either diag 1 or diag -1. Here's hoping you get your fuelling problem sorted out m8. Have you posted the signs and symptoms of it over on AF1?. Quite a few guys there are good at diagnosing this sort of thing and suggesting fixes. :thumbup
 
hi gary not posted anything yet mate but will do if i can ,took the tank off tonight stripped all the pump down found a whole load of **** and bits of metal all around the filter housing and the filter was covered in crap. all clean now all back together had it a blast up the road went great no probz as yet. hope thats it this time find out when i take it to work . if your ever going to clean your pump guys do it on a empty tank lol i got soaked in petrol i had just filled it on my way home when out last run, nightmare lol .. if its sorted guys i might head up to tyndrum again on sunday give it a good run see if its sorted ..
 
That sounds promising m8. Sounds like it could well have been the fuel filter needing a clean then, fingers crossed!. :thumbup
 
A bit short notice,but me and the boy are gonna head down to Tarbert for the fair this afternoon,leaving Inveraray at 3pm ish,if anyone wants to tag along...

i would be up for a run to tyndrtum are you coming up through stirling if so i will tag on at the petrol station in doune if ok..
 
hi guys sorry for late reply ,went to work on sat went for a **** lol wiped bum loads of blood on paper bowl full of blood also oh ffs whats going on here i thought ,so ended up in hairmyres hospital for 4 hours getting tests done .i seem fine now i hope sorry for event details guys only way i could put it lol.

anyway bike still running like **** so aint got a clue whats up as yet poss injectors so there my next target fuel lines too. some day i`ll get to the bottom of this guys will keep yous posted :thumbup:
