Scottish Ride OOOT 3

Welldone Gary m8 ,soooo if theres no takers for knockhill then hows about another ride oot or for some a first or should that be most a first, sugestions again for places but i think a bit more local to us in the central belt wont go a miss as i cant go to far away now as the wife and i are waiting for a very important phone call (I'll fill you in l8tr)anyway hows about a blast up through dollar through glen devon and up to creif then along to loch earn then back to callander be abot a couple of hours so the hers indoors cant complain about being a weekend widow(well shouldn't complain but will anyway)anyone up for it this weekend weather permitting....
 
Gettin everybody together is like trying to ***** through the eye of a needle,right hows a bout next weekend ??????
 
Pretty sure next weekend is ok for me too. I come off duty on Friday morning and then I'm off till Tuesday. :thumbup

Hope the weather is a bit cheerier!!.
 
hi guys ,just looked at the bike tonight rear brake light dont work need to make a new loom for that also found out why speedo dont work lol cable been touching the exhaust pipe and shoted out oops :jack im still waiting for the new one to come from jim alen flawkirk . :dunno aprilia parts take ages to come :jack:jack:jack

Me and my oldest boy are gonna go for a blast down to Campbeltoon,this weekend,if yer interested(might be a bit far for some,).
wont be breakneck speed as he has only got a gsxr400...
 
i ordered my speedo sensor on the 11th this month from jim allens called them today and **** me hes not even got it yet whit the **** are they all about looks like it might be well into next week before i get it.. what a ****** place that is "********"
bikes sittin in bits waiting pat so i cant mate sorry .Campbeltoon sounds like a good hurl mate another day i will be up for that for defnit :)
 
tell me about it,I ordered a new race tank for the rd400 on 17th of june from mead speed,tried phoning them last week ,auto" reply we're on holiday untill 22nd july"

What we doin next weekend then, Saturday or Sunday?. Either suits me as long as I know in advance. Anyone else up for it?. I'll ping Alan W a message on Facebook and see if he fancies it.

As I said to Bryan, route wise I'm easy, either a longish or short route, not fussed. The Tyndrum / Dalmally Road / Connel Bridge / Glencoe / Tyndrum loop is usually a good 'un though. And just to reiterate, I'll be the slow one bimbling along in a wobbly fashion. Still rather rusty after my biking hiatus. :devious
 
well guys sat morn now8.10am just fitted new speedo and rear b/light re-wire off to work now see if alls fine so im up for a blast but keepin it coolish at the rear lol behind the wobbly guy lol
 
sorted sorted sorted well peeps speedo working great and no loss of power anymore the old speedo was shorting against the exaust that was my problem so ""yeehaa"" back to normal :):):) just need to re-new fork oil now and will be like new
 
right lads after everything getting this sorted im afraid i'm going to have to leave it up to yous to sort i'm going to go to knockhill Saturday morning and after that i'll be whacked and skint so no ride oot for me,if anyone fancies coming along let me know,i bet your happy biff m8 sorted happy for you ,Gary m8 after the epic youve had gettin the bike back i'm pissed off i'm no going to meet and put a face to the name but there will be other ride oots i'm sure, anyhooo if you's want to come the offer of a pick up in ma van is still on the cards so enjoy lads and i'll look forward tae the photo's.....

Good to hear you got the speedo sorted out biff. Sunday sound ok for you?. Any further thoughts on the route, anyone ?. Who we got so far?. Biff, myself, Pat - can you make it next Sunday?. What about you gizgrey m8?.

I might be able to make it if the parts for my RD don't turn up ,if they do I'll be busy building the project bike up..
but if the weather is as good as this weekend I'll be oot an aboot .
 
i will be up for it probably ok for either sat or sunday anywhere will do me,just let me know where and when..
 
Right, ****.....I've fecked up. It's my birthday on Monday the 1st. I'm not fussed on celebrating as I'll be hitting the big 4-0. :eek:

My missus doesn't know that I know what she knows but she has organised a "surprise" friends and family BBQ get together at my folk's house on Sat 30th July. A mates other half let it slip today. So I'll probably be rather hungover on Sunday so I'm guessing it's going to be yet another bloody miss from me for a run. Really annoyed.

The following Sunday should be ok for me though ( 7th Aug ) if anyone is up for that?.

If not, my apologies for missing out YET AGAIN!!!! and enjoy yer run this weekend. I'll catch up with you lot eventually!!!. :rant
