Scotland West Coast Hoon

COUNTY DURHAM
due to work commitments the planned hoon around the West coast of Scotland will be as:

Depart North East on the 5th July for 4 nights
first night in or around Oban
second and third night in or around Ullapool
fourth night TBC
 
Can ya just confirm this leaves on Sunday 5th July (not June as original plan) ?

Either way, works for me, just need to get a Hol form in early

:)
 
Depends if I'm on holiday or not.

If I'm not I could catch you guys In Oban and run up to Ullapool for the night.

Oops forget that, just noticed the 5th is a Sunday.

I'll catch you guys on your way to Oban if I can.
 
defo July but the start day can be changed, I finish work on the 3rd for a full week
 
I can't apply for ad hoc leave until 56 days before I want the time me off. I will apply , if I get it I'm in.
 
Will keep that week free so any days will suit me....

finding it hard to get accommodation in Ullapool
whats the thoughts on Bonar bridge for 2 nights
 
No prob with that... as long as there is somewhere to eat & drink in house or nearby :)

had a quick trawl about, there isnt much available in most places (especially twins or singles).... think everyone is going to scotland that week ?
 
booked the Lancaster Hotel in Oban for the Sunday night 2 x twin room and the Dunroamin Hotel in Bonar Bridge for the Monday and Tuesday night 2 x twin room
just need to sort the last night out
all rooms are ITRO £38/pppn
 
booked the Pitifirrane Hotel in Crossford near Dunfermline for the last night same rates now all we need is someone to tag along and fill the rooms
 
after Mr A posted on the other channel regarding Bonar Bridge I have a second option booked at the Strathpeffer hotel in Strathpeffer, let me know your thoughts please
 
Strathpeffer hotel gets my vote...... but dont mind either...

sooner the better, i need a fix !
 
just been looking at this brooksy ,if i come i will have to factor in 2 more nights around your area could you advise a suitable place please.
 
probs be better looking around the Harrogate / Ripon area mate then you can ride up to the first meet point with Felix, will have a look about and stick a couple of links up for you.
