Has anyone else had any prob's ordering from this lot.

I have had some Carbon bits on order for a month now, and keep getting fobbed off when I ring. Its not as though the order is peanuts either , because its £500.

I just get the impression that they are fobbing my everytime I ring, buecause they always seem to have a different excuse. I always speak to a bloke with a South African accent.

I would cancel the order but I really want the bits

Never had ny issues with 'em mate and I've ordered a lot of stuff from 'em in the past.

However, I seem to recall reading that Paul ( PAB ) had sold up and moved on, so its another guy running the show now, at RSVR.net.

Ordered a swing arm protector last week from 'em and it arrived the next day.

Maybe they are having difficulty locating stock for the bits you placed an order for?. No reason for them to fob you off though!!!

What bits did you order and what are they saying is the reason for the delay?.

i've shopped from them a few times before, got my galfer disk and couple other things from them... not the fastest service but they did alright by me

what have they been telling you? it could be the truth and just a bunch of unfortunate circumstances

if they are official aprilia bits it could be they need to source them from italy and are having trouble like the rest of the world in getting things for our aprilias

an alternative thought to cancelling, why not tell them to send the bits they have and the rest when they come into stock?

yeah i think that happened a while back, pretty sure my dealings have all been with the new management :dunno

The order is for Carbon side panels & carbon air scoops. They say they are ready at the factory, but are waiting for the full dealer order to be filled before I get my stuff.

You were speaking to Nick Wade who owns the business as of about 18 months ago.

All parts at the French european parts centre usually take about 3-5 days. That probably means yours were not.

Some parts continue to be an issue with Aprilia for historical reasons. I know of an SP owner who is 5 months into waiting for parts. That's an aprilia issue not the retailer.
Stock availability at the euro centre can be checked online by any dealer before you order and is worthwhile doing if you need things in a hurry.

fcuking furious now. Was promised them this week. Rang RSVR and was told they haven't been dispatched from the factory.

I go to France for 1 month on Saturday and I will play holy FCKU if they aren't here by then. I ordered them on the 30th April and they took the £500 on the 1st May. So I am paying for something I can't have.

matey, carbon bits always take a while, often made to order. RSVR.net are fairly good. QB carbon can make- two weeks from yer order. DONT buy from OPS in Canada, my 02 carbon tank took a year to appear...think yersel lucky mate. It will be worth the wait. My 02 mille is now only 10 kilos heavier than Karl Harris's BSB blade!!!
Nicolas is a top guy, sometimes it just takes awhile.
PS_have they actually charged your card??
cheers Ck

Dan

a pain though it might be cosmetic parts from Aprilia have always been a pain to get. There is an ongoing financial issue between Aprilia and some suppliers.

I waited 5 months for a rear wheel and hugger after the batt leaked acid 5 mins from dealer on a brand new bike.
Getting mad at your dealer/supplier doesn't really move you forward, they can't magic Aprilia to get their finger out. It's not as if it's a good situation for them either to have you without your gear.

If you feel you can get them quickly elsewhere then get a refund.

You may want to try Aprilia Yorkshire. They have just gone to Aprilia's suppliers direct and purchased 100K worth of spares to try and counter the problem.

Yeah he card was charged the day after I ordered.

Danf matey, I suggest you google some carbon mille sites, there are quite a few out there(like QB carbon, carbon tech, OPP, king carbon, ducatikaemna.de etc, see whos got what in stock and sack off RSVr.net if you can get them quicker elsewhere.
cheers

I ordered the silly little tail tidy a week ago, took my money straight away of course, just got an email saying they're waiting for the delivery from USA.

I really wish they'd make it clear on the site wether its in stock or not, others do. Now i have to ride around with a dinner tray sized number plate with no idea of when its coming, i could be waitring weeks for a bracket!

Small problem compared to some of yours i know but things like that annoy me and i think i'll go elsewhere from now on. :rant

Finally gave up today. RSVR rang to say they couldn't supply my seat panels.

Hopefully my carbon ears will be here by Friday though!
