Does that ram mount not go in the top of the stem ?

There are 2 option, one a stem mount (which I have had problems with because the base is not fixing firm but will rotate with pressure ( eg wind pressure), and the other is through the tank bolt which won't rotate because it can lock tight

Finally got it set up, redline escort radar detector, Garmin Zumo God and Sena sr10 Bluetooth transmitter. Created a tree using ram mounts off the tank bolt - put a m6 X 1 thread into a female m6 X 1 mounting ball and into the tank bolt thread. Ivan at Ram Solutions was very helpful
