Trackday was great, couldn't quite match 3 BMWs and an R1 at the front of the fast group, but an enjoyable start to the season. We had a slight hiccup as the new Fireblade's motogp style exhaust failed the noise test & I had to share the RSV with my brother, the right side of the back Racetec was as bald as a chip's arse by 3.30, so fun was curtailed slightly early.
It looks like I'll get a run either Saturday or Sunday (still negotiating the bank holiday weekend itinerary) so happy to meet if somebody's got a plan. Ohtherwise there are 2 reasonable meeting points on the B645, Blades motorbike shop in Gt Staughton, complete with tea/burger van or the Star & Garter at Chelveston. If you are starting near Newmarket the latter option is probably a destination rather than a start point.
