I've recently fitted them to my Tuono. Nice and easy to fit, just had to move my rear indicators a tad. You might find you keep melting your right boot. I did so I bought a shield to fit. Problem solved.
I don't know if it's because the exhausts are closer to my ears but it definitely sounds louder now.

The shield you speak of, where did you get that from?.
What's involved in fitting these?. The seller says he has full instructions with the system. I am assuming its just a case of removing the standard can and offering up the link pipe then fitting both sides end cans?. Where did you have to move your indicators to?

Hi Gaz, PM me your email address and I'll send you piccies which show how I moved my indicators and I'll explain how I did it. I'll also send you a close up of the shield I bought. I bought 2 so if you like it I'll let you have the spare (unused) one at a reasonable price.
It is just a case of removing the existing link pipe then fitting the double one - straight swap. The cans are bolted underneath the bobbins under the rear seat.
Does your kit include the extra spacers for the rear foot pegs?

I have no idea what else comes with the kit the seller is sending me. From the pictures on the eBay listing it looks like there is a little box with it with various bits and bobs in it, including the decibel killing baffles.
Nice one on the offer of the shield, I might take you up on that if the kit turns up and there isn't one included.
Also, what sort of "loudness" and noise are we talking here?. Having scoured the net, opinions vary from "OMFG!!!" loud to a nice deep bass tone and not overly loud?. I listened to the vid clip posted above but wondered what you guys thought about the loudness of your cans?.

Ive heard most of the cans for mille's apart from Tigs (never heard them), without baffles yours will be louder than Akra, Arrow are about the same as yours upto about 4500, thats when Arrows seem to peak out and the renegades keep going, awesome noise and they pop and rumble when ya close the throttle to slow down, ive never put my baffles in but think BoB has his in all the time, the reason i had mine made was because i loved the sound of Rs3milles Renegades and none were for sale at the time, it difficult to descibe a sound in words but if your looking for a loud deep rumble then ya got the right system mate :thumbup

I sometimes use the bike to commute to work on a dayshift and that means a 07:00am start.
The Blueflame I have on it just now is loud and pretty deep toned, but when it's sat still just ticking over as I warm it up, it's not that much more noisy than the standard dustbin can.
Just wondering if I am going to get away with starting this thing up in the morning without the neighbours lynching me.

Oh dear, ya neighbours aint gonna be loving you no more mate, i would say they will be 3 louder on tickover than standard, its not so much the loudness its the thump ya get with them, seems to bounce off every house in the street, when ya fit them you will see what i mean :thumbup

Ha Ha, you must be joking. I've put the baffles in mine but they're still very loud. And I've re-packed the silencers. I went out for a 6:15am start on mine the other day - :doug, it makes up for the 'silent treatment' I'm getting now from the neighbours. Can't wait for their early Sunday wake up call they're going to get tomorrow as I'm leaving early for Brands.
That heatshield you will be getting looks like really cool. Much better than mine. :inlove

Well, as far as the noise goes, I kinda thought as much.
I'm definately going to have to refit the standard can in June as I am booked in for an assessed ride with the local traffic cops on a Bikesafe course.
Don't think they will be best pleased if I turn up with the Rene's fitted. :biggrin

Just put the baffles in mate, they will love it, my wife can hear me coming off the A14 into our village on a still day, thats nearly a mile and a half away :biggrin:biggrin

Yeah, my missus can tell when I'm nearly home from work too as she can hear me coming off the motorway and down the slip road near us about a mile away.
Will do m8, will dig the camcorder out and get a sound clip when the system arrives. :thumbup
