At your age, I'm not surprised! A mate has a tuned Octavis VRS in red and it looks pretty phat but there is still a bit of a stigma!

Leon's are good, I've had a coupel of A4's - much better screwed together than the 3 series you put a pic of, but the BM's are very good looking. Each to their own.

I'm sure you'll miss riding regularly when the costs of the track add up - a set of tyres will probably do 1, maybe 2 trackdays. etc etc.

You can't steam off to the track every time the mrs. pisses you off at the weekends either!

Fabia VRS, i cant talk really , have had celica GT4 , mr2 mk1, mr2 mk2 turbo, golf gti mk3 &4 , bought the wife 03 beetle tdi 3 years ago and is still going strong. B`s are not for me

The Seat Leon TDi's are stunning I wouldn't mind one of those either, but no way am I ever going to own a skoda, lol.
You'll find Skodas are better built as the Germans are better at kicking East European arses than lazy Spanish ones.
Just remember. BMW is the German Ford: Audi is the German Audi.
And yes, I too love VAG.

Hi this is my first post on here, but in reply to your thread I would have to say I feel the same about the road, for me the enjoyment has ended of a quick hoon around the countryside. So I have converted my 2002 RSVR to a dedicated track bike and can honestly say its the the most I've ever enjoyed a bike ever!!!! I mainly go to Cadwell as its quite local to me! As for the road I have a 1999 vtr1000 for riding to work but I don't really bother going for blasts on a weekend anymore.

no bike = an extra 2 hours commuting a day

5 days a week, thats 10 hours extra traveling to work for a job thats only 35 hours a week

plus we got "congestion charge" :-( rip off heading our way £5 + £1 extra a day parking on top of fuel likely

so save 10 hours and £30 a week or give up and use a car????

think i will stick to the bike ta just think of the bling £30 quid a week buys.... or more likely beer :)

Good point, however I have 4 words for you my friend 'I walk to work' lol

You guys can praise skoda's all you want, even if you paid me.

I'm looking at 2 cars on sunday, one is a slightly pricey A4, the other is a cheap-ish 3 series, I like them both :inlove have to say the A4 is better specced for sure, but im not rushing into anything.

Yeah, but at least they're awake all day:dowhat

How do you know dude?you brits get so hammered at lunch time you don't remember the rest of the day. Also you have the reputation of being dirty and hypocritical........ That's the stereotype anyway. Yes, I am Spanish and if you talk about us from a stereotype point of view, i'll do the same. I'm sure you're enjoying.....

Darn, I knew there'd be someone Spanish on here. Sorry Sergi for my pathetic attempt at non-PC humour. And all the stereotypes about us Brits are true!
(BTW I like the Spanish really - I did name my first child Fernando!).

I do apologize too as I did the same as you and stereotyped East European people first and then brits. I like both East European and brits, my partner is a brit so I better do!! Now I'm going for my siesta :thumbup
