Hello to all and thanks. I am already stunned after 10 full minutes on the Forum by the information and the incredible photos!
I am not your typical Tuono enthusiast, and in fact, am not even an owner. I presently ride (of all things) a Harley Touring bike, still own the 125cc KTM / Penton of my youth, have owned dirt bikes in days gone by, and am on the hunt for something to set my heart on fire. I contemplated the KTM 1290 Super Duke R and new GT, was fascinated by the BMW S1000XR, and am intrigued by the Yamaha FZ-10 (MT-10 elsewhere). Then it happened: I saw videos of the new Tuono V4 1000 (& Factory version). I am not certain that I will ever be the same again.
I am also unlike the typical Tuono rider physically. I am (somewhat!) older and wish for no, not more radical rear sets, but in fact a lower and possibly more forward peg position. Also, though I prefer the look of clip ons, I would even prefer by means of a riser or alternate handlebars, a shorter and less aggressive reach for the controls. I think that these items are available, but in very low demand. Still, I am not certain of their existence or the choices available.
Until recently, items on my must have list were luggage capability, cruise control, heated grips, etc. HOWEVER, I have been so absolutely smitten by the looks and sound of the Tuono that I hardly care about anything! We all know about the torque, brakes, and handling. Nevertheless, what I find oddly lacking in reviews are things that still interest me, such as
Again, I thank you all for your enthusiasm and knowledge

- How are the headlights at night
- Is there a fuel gauge or just a low fuel light?
- How is reliability these days?
- Did I really see Tuono photos with a taller windscreen or did I imagine it?
Again, I thank you all for your enthusiasm and knowledge
