Grin, the Fir Tree is a pub at the north end of Wingate, on the cross roads to Durham.
They have bike nights on a tuesday evening when it gets a bit warmer / lighter / dryer.
Free food on bike night - sausages, chips, buns, pizza or what ever is spare on the night.

See you at 11 Brooksy, looks like it might be a decent day.
Make sure you put your bike back together properly.

soon find out if its back together properly, might be a good idea for you to lead in case bits start falling off lol

Hope the day went well, me & the mrs ended up in Thirsk then Helmsley, loads of bikes out, but didn't see any T's

due to the windy conditions we had a couple of hours local riding and enjoyed every minute. off out again today for a blast.

If there was an award for the cleanest T, Brooksy would have won that.
I was totally out polished & out blinged.

If there was an award for the scruffiest T, I would have won that.
Whats the point of spraying a load of ACF 50 on it then washing it back off again !!

just back from a solo blast :biggrin feels a lot better with the bars tilted Olaf :thumbup all polished and locked up ready for the next one :yes

I forgot O had his bars forward. Will have a look at them next time out, and a bit chat about them. Pleased they are bette for you B.

I had my first proper ride out yesterday since getting the Tuono last week. We went to Scarbrough and then back home to Gateshead via Helmsley too and it was class. Couldnt believe the difference of the wind blast compared to my Gixxer but for everything else I love it. Loads of grunt, comfortable, great brakes, excellent on all the b roads and I just love the sound of it with the Titanium Evo pipe I fitted popping and banging when I shut the throttle. Have to laugh when the car alarms get set off too.

I know Im preaching to the converted but I know what all the fuss is about now, gonna have a great summer of biking

Heds

any one interested in a ride out
date - any saturday or sunday (whats your pref) i am on holiday 13th - 20th of April
meet - metro centre car park
destination - a68 - a7 - a69
reason - why not!
lets have your thoughts guys!

I am free most saturdays.

Watch that A69, Its a good road for biking, but I have never seen so many speed traps (fixed & mobile).

All of the usual days out are OK with me, as long as not too many dual carriage ways, not my cup of "T".
