As I was passing, I called at the place I take mine for a MOT to let them hear my new cans.
I asked them if it would pass its test.
His answer was, as far as he is concerned the noiser it is, the safer it is.
He is a biker as well.

My bikes last MOT had an advisory: Exhausts noisy.

He does a fair test, brakes on the rollers, slackness in all suspension etc
At the end of the day I would prefer to have a test that picks up safety related items but is sensible enough to review some of the grey areas.

Thornville Garage in Hartlepool is a bike testing station, owned and run by by bikers. Great bunch of lads, all my vehicles go there for tests.

Its a health & safety issue now to have loud cans on, if the blind *******s don't see you, they will bloody hear you.
The weather is looking acceptable for saturday.
Cant go on Sunday, I am going to the stock car racing at Barnard Castle, a birthday treat for the oldest grand bairn.
Its years since I saw them, most of the tracks have now closed.
It was always a good day out.
