Hi all, I'm new to the Tuono and the forum although I have read loads on them. I bought my Tuono last week, gen 1 registered in 08 with 9000 miles, I haven't rode it yet as I'm recovering from a broken collar bone from a earlier bike accident. I've just down loaded the factory users book but don't know which workshop manual to download as there doesn't seem to be one titled for mine being a 02/03 era model. Bikes starts and runs nice, engine sounds great, can't wait to get riding

The site Dean gave doesn't as far as I can see list a manual specific to the Tuono of this vintage, I down load the owners hand book though, us version but at least I can see how to set the clocks etc.
Now, as to where my Tuono spent its life between manufacture and registration , don't know, shop floor or someone's collection.

Seriously, viewing upside down pics on a smartphone is a real pain. Every time I rotate the phone the picture rotates too!!! So I have keep spinning the phone... although it's easier just to hang off the sofa upside down instead!!
That said, nice looking bike. Mines a magnet grey and gold version too. Hope you got a discount though, in absence of a saddle!!.

.Seat had been removed to get to the battery, surprise suprise, as it wasn't secured I decided it was safer in the car, visions of bike falling over, grabbing the seat to stop it and being left with a seat in my hands and the bike on the floor.

I replaced the two seat bolts with stud fixings/posts with hole drilled through top. These stay in situ, and seat held on with wired 'R' shaped clips.
- Bought then from an Aprillia specialist on the RSV forum.
Saves all the hassle removing seat, but once you have a battery charger connector cable wired in, and upgraded battery, and mastered winter throttle setting to start bike, saddle rarely needs to be removed!
