The T is just perfect for my 6'5". No problem planting both feet flat.
When I'm rich and famous, I'm going to have a bike made that is proportionately correct for me. Then I may have a little more empathy for you little pissants...
shovelhead...well i got a bit of a twisted sense of humour, and its tricky being a woman riding bikes, get all the bollockey coments, not really 58 i been riding bikes since a kid.
yes its a bit tall but not as bad as ktm now thats a balancing act lol. getting bike friday, gunna piss down saturday so better get it before the weather changes, will go back down that usk road that should get me into the bike wheeeyyyy, oh one last thing do they have tool kits with bikes? and hand books? just wondering like
evlin - the Chepstow - Usk road?? YEAH!! I ******' love that road, tight and twisty, just how I like it. Can't be arsed with sraight roads, too much temptation to wind it up to stupid speeds (even on a naked bike) and risk not only your licence but the state of your arse in the prison shower with Bubba. (not a problem for you I realise ).
Re seat hieght: I'm 5'11" with a 32" inside leg and the T is the tallest bike I've owned (I've had a fair few over nearly 30 years). It's fine on the flat, but on a camber I'm on tiptoe at times. Not an issue normally but on the rare occasion I take the missus out on the back my thigh muscles get a workout..
bay you little tinker gilo yep thats the road, will go up 466 to monmoth then a4136 to gloucester now that road is a twistey treat too speshy going towards gloucester, hope bloody traffics not too bad , bloody lorries n stuff pain in the arse!!!!!!!!! just a bit excited today....will leave early in morning to get bike
No chance of me being on the pull. My missus has always made it crystal clear that if she found out I'd been playing away she'd attack my two wheeled toys with a large lump hammer and a hacksaw.
See, some women threaten violence, a severe kick in the sack etc, but my missus knows how to really hurt a man.......
How old are you then Evlin if you're not 58? Just curious now. Had to ask the wife the other day how old I was as couldn't remember whether I was 37 or 38. I'm 38 on November 14th. Same date as Prince Chalres and the date they started BBC radio in 1922 apparently.
PS I think they are the roads I rode to Aylesbury to pick up my Tuoldo. Its a 53 model but no marks on it and the same suspension as yours which for the date it is was pretty smack on and is still good but not set it up for myself yet.
PPS I was a Superduke but couldn't get one with the bigger tank range I wanted. Hate to say it but I'd have had the SD over the Tuoldo if I could have gotten one but glad I have the T now having ridden it for the last 6plus months.
My wife told me Giles after coming back from a Hen weekend and going Clay Pigeon shooting and getting 100% hits that if I ever did anything she'd borrow a shotgun. Mind you if I'm honest I've just about enough time to spend with the wife without having any other complications going on in my life. Much rather spend my free time firstly with my little boy and wife and then the bike. Some days not in that order. Might buy him a little 50cc bike when he's a little older get him into it early.
bay...07 onwards SD has a bigger tank i can get 130 miles on a kinda medium throtel pre 07 is a 80 mile tank range, also early ones are mega flighty front end, changed rake on 07 onwards mines tame and thats a bloody savage ******* thing i can tell you!
tell you what im really worrid that i will miss that SD as its a real hooligan bike, but its time to go i reckon, i can allways get another one if i really want to! SDr IS MORE harsh on susspension n things seat is hell!!!!! Standard SD has same components on it just not as spensive!!! ask a lady there age good god man!!!
