Do you plan to ride the motorways or a more touristic route? I find it difficult to search for a B&B without knowing the person. I've found something nice (I think..) if you like staying at a farm. They have a wooden cabin for 45 euro per night. (prices are somewhat higher in Holland, I think) It's about 15 km from the town of Utrecht and another 65km from Hoek van Holland/Europoort.
They have a website http://www.cattenbroekseplas.nl/, but it is in Dutch. You could email them. Tell them you want a stay in a haystackcabin

Thankyou for the suggestion. To be honest though, was looking for a moderately lively town so we could have some food and beers, not really to far from the main road as such.

Coopstar, Try in Utrecht itself, have been there a few times (ex was studying there) and can definitely get lively from time to time:devious. also plenty places to sup a few sherberts and loads of spots to get eats:thumbup

If you want to party go to the city of Utrecht....:thumbup Lots and lots of nice bars
