well same bike new take

im never going to out ride the bike so it pointless spending on a new one,i fancy doing some mods.so far ive got k&n filter and have gone 2 down on the front, three up on the back im running pilot race medium compounds

so what next to give the bike something else?
also i might change the colour scheam, what do guys think?

What colour is it now :dunno Yeah new colour will make it like a new bike...almost :biggrin

Well the best MOD would have to be HID kit, the 2nd would have to be a Renegade Airbox, what a noise!!! add it to your list of MODs,

What is H.I.D? the BEST MOD you can perform, it turns night into day,

H.I.D. HIGH INTENSITY DISCHARGE

It refers to lighting technology that relies on an electrical charge to ignite xenon gas contained in a sealed bulb. The technology of hid automotive lamps have been used for years in sports arenas and stadiums around the world.

Dont think im a clever fecker....I copied and pasted that from the ebay page!!!!

I just can't understand why anyone would want to put an HID kit on an RSV which has by far the best lights of any bike I've ever owned (although admittedly, I've owned some crap ones in my time).
Also, given the well-known battery/starting/sprag - related problems and the fact that I never bother/remember to turn my lights off when I stop the bike, surely an HID kit is just going to suck a massive hit of precious battery juice to spark up the HIDs every time you switch the ignition on right?
Plus you get to do an impression of a BMW every time you go out at night - ever noticed how those HIDs sort of twinkle blue in your mirrors? The number of times I've slammed on the anchors only to find some prick in a 3-series come past me ...

I agree the lights are miles better than most bikes. My 03 was amazing compaired to my kawasaki, its a function over looks set up in my opinion. Still minging though!

il look into the renaged box,not realy fused about light there ok as thye are

this is what it looks like now plus some minor rash on the right side, was thinking all black with just a small ginsters on the lower belly and aprilia badge?

Have to admit that's what has stopped me doing this mod.

OK, lets answer a few of those points.
The RSV headlight isn't bad but having owned a K6 1000 I can tell you they're not the best.
HID kits draw less current than standard lamps when in use and around 20% more for around 2 seconds at initial ignition. Therefor if you forget to turn your lights off and leave the ignition on your battery will last significantly longer with a HID kit fitted, ERG0 it's better for your battery.
The "twinkly blue" light you see is from 6000k and above temperature ratings. I run 5000k lights which are the closest to a normal lamp with far more light output.
I've fitted HID kits to every car and bike I've owner in the last 5 years and wouldn't hesitate to continue doing it.

BTW, if a twinkly headlight gets you noticed, I guess it makes it a pretty damned good safety feature!

well here it is fitted some flush indys,r&g's de sticker wash and polish
looks a bit more subtle now and hopefully will attract the law less

HID at 6000K or less doesnt make the light blue, its the best mod you can do not only for the fact it brightens everything up at night you also get seen alot better by the twats in the metal cages.

HID draw 35 watts max a normal halogen draws 55W

ps I used to be a delivery driver for Ginsters, and must admit i ve lost weight since lol

ps Why did you take the stickers offf???
