Hello all
I am coming over from the Triumph world. I currently own a Daytona 675 and a 765 Moto2. I was planning to sell the Moto 2 for a speed triple RS. I began hearing about the RS660 and fell in love with the specs and styling. Well then I came across the Tuono 660 and it was over after that. I called a local dealer and dropped a full deposit on one. This is so impulsive and uninformed I know. I have no experience with the Aprilia brand but man the look of that bike grabbed me so much that I had to have it. This jump in now and figure it out later way of doing things is not like me at all. I usually do not go for the first year of a new model either. I did that with the Moto 2 thinking the 765 engine was tried and true. Trust me, the Moto 2 still has its issues. Anyhow, I am excited to try this bike. Great styling, easier riding position on my aging back. Impressive electronics package and at 660cc all the power I will ever really need. That is my hope at least. So here I am. A newbie hoping for the best.
