Hello and Greetings!
Just dropped in for a pint. Riding in Oklahoma in the winter is good, so long as there's some anti-freeze waiting!:cheers I now have a 2007 Bol d'or, GREAT bike!!:doug I have been working my way through the "reliability" mods and the "anti-smoke check" mods and thought I'd say hello. Cheers!

Welcome to the forum!!

Bol d'ors are apparently an acquired taste and I have to admit they have grown on me over the past few years.

welcome to the site mate!, like the paint job on your bike. This is a good place for advice.

Hey a riding mate for cowboy dan, he's just got a Bol'Dor too :biggrin

welcome to the zone :thumbup

The Bol d'or

Guinness is also an aquired taste and I have aquired that taste as well. Yes, Cowboy Dan sounded lonely, so I ran out and snatched up the first Ape I could find. In reality, It was a deal I could not refuse! :pirateWe had to travel two thousand miles, in the snow, uphill both ways to take posession but it was all worth it! There is a local Aprilia dealership, but they would not "deal" at that level. I feel good about it!

Congratumalations on the Bol D'or and welcome to the zone Chris :)

Keep it sunny side up :thumbup

I think Bol d'ors are only not liked by people who haven't seen one in the flesh. Btw, watch your wheels mate, the paints just started falling off of mine!

Paint?

Wow, as a fellow american, I am amazed w/ our completely ****** economy that they wouldn't damn near pay you to take that off their hands! I hope you ride your new bike to your local dealership under the pretense that you're going to buy get a spare key or something just to show them that you bought one elsewhere. I'm willing to bet theirs will still be on the showfloor! Congrats on your new baby and kudos to you for not letting yourself be taken advantage of! :thumbup

Bar end mirrors....

I couldn't see with the stockers. As far as the dealer goes, I have ridden by to get some consumables. I was grimaced at! I believe in supporting the locals, but not to the tune of $3000!

Big Burgers....

Well.....yes, I suppose I am. However, I am 15 stone at 6' 4". I should be able to see around myself, but it is the "Up" angle that is difficult. Thanks for the thought, all the same!:glare
