Chris, if it'll help you get those horrid bar-end things (just my opinion you understand) off your lovely BDO, there's a guy on here who sells mirror extenders for yours - Bubseywoo
I'm 15 stone as well and I don't have too much trouble seeing out of my mirrors (but then I am, er, about 8 inches shorter than you are:eatcorn:eatcorn:eatcorn):thumbup

Yes, Horrid!
I am not in love with the bar-end mirrors and given the chance, I shall pitch them into the pond! I've never liked the look, but they are handy when trying to make it home in one piece. I rather like the idea of cleaning up the bars AND being able to see who is trying to kill me, so I shall give these a go!:thumbup
