Hiya guys!
I've just put away my mille for the winter, and it's been one week, and I already feel crap about it - fortunately, I dabble a bit with enduro (and mx) on a Husaberg, so I'm not completely left without a bike.
34 years old, used to pour immense amounts of money and time into Impreza turbos, got fed up with it, picked up enduro 15 months ago, got the bike license sorted this May, and I couldn't be happier! :doug
I always wanted a sports bike (love the twisty stuff), but I wussed out and went for something sensible, a '99 VFR800, as much as I loved that bike, the chassies wasn't up for it, felt wobbly and soft - all it took was one go at the Mille, and I was in love.
The twin is more or less (a very lovely) perk of the bike.
Cya guys!
/J - off to the mx-track today, sun is up, it's going to be a great day...
