Hi All
I'm Adz, aged 38 and live in the East Midlands UK
I've owned my Busa for over 5 years but fancy a change, so i'm looking at a 53 plate RSV factory at the weekend.
I commute 130 miles a day on my ZZR600, so the Aprilia will be for fun (hopefully)
Cheers
Adz

As a further to this, I picked my RSVR factory up yesterday and got it back safe.
I'm in love. It's got a Titnium Akrapovic sytem and a PC3 USB, as well as some other bits.
I've got to get used to it though, it's totally different to my Busa (or anything else i've ridden)

Nice one Adz, you got your the same day as me :)
Maybe i will see you on the road sometime :)

I'll be easy to spot, i'll be the one pootle-ing about.
I'm still a bit intimidated by it's height, delivery and engine brakeing to be honest.
I came straight off an unrestricted Busa and usually just jump on other bikes and cane them straight away.
This bike seems to be taunting me.:nana
I love how hard I have to work on it.:inlove:inlove:inlove

Dont worry its been a while for me too, was a bit nervous yesterday but it all came back..just sit back and enjoy it m8, I dont need to tell you its a different ride to a inline 4 ...its an amazing ride you'll love it :)
your right! I found you have to work a little harder than the jap bikes..but its all good.

I was going to take her out again today but the weather looks pants again!! soooo I'll watch the GP and give her a wash later :)

Hello Guys and Gals
Mark here from not so sunny and bloody windy Newcastle upon Tyne, thought I'd join RSV Zone after being on RSVR.net for a while.
The bike, well its a RSVR 01, a bit of a Hybrid at the minute, it took me 6 months to put together but i'm happy with the result (pics in my gallery).
First question, how do I put a picture on my name tag ????? sometimes I really can be thick when it comes to IT.
Ride safe and enjoy

Hey up all
Bought myself an 02 Mille couple of weeks ago and Iv been trawling through this forum for info quite a bit so thought its about time I said hello. Expect a raft of daft questions, Iv been building, riding and abusing big old Suzukis for years and my beloved Bandit has come off the road for a 60,000 mile rebuild over winter. The Mille came up at the right price to tide me over till Iv rebuilt the bandit but I must say I am a little bit in love with it at the minute.

Hi All.

Thought i'd introduce myself.
My name's Darren from Hull, East Yorkshire.
I've been lurking for a while, prior to actually buying an RSV, but took the plunge, and picking up my Mille on Sunday!
Been on a v-twin since passing my test in 08, as had an SV650s, but it was time to move onwards and upwards, so here I am!

So i'll be mooching about the place from now on!

cheers

Darren

Welcome m8, get the bikes sussies set up for you it'll feel quite slow turning and heavy compared to the sv but you will love it as long as it starts and go's...

Hi, recently the proud owner of a 58 rsv mille in white. Thought I best become part of the family :):):) i love the bike but need some info on it... The bike isn't exactly in great shape as the previous owner bought it at auction with some "minor" front end damage. No third party just a scrape. The nose cone, tank and rear seat plastics have been re-sprayed with no decals so I need to find a set of stickers.... Also I think the clocks are either new or this common problem of clocks resetting when the battery goes flat has had its effect on this bike. It has 1070 miles on it but I can see the front brake discs moving when I hold the brake on. Theres no way its only done 1070 miles! Also had absoloutley no history as it was from auction so not sure whether to ask my local aprilia dealer to give me a service manual and other documents to prove the bike is upto scratch. Any idea's? I'm sure i'll find more nigly problems with it as I go along but i'll keep posting. Thanks, Dan

Stickers are ebay jobs, mate, unless you wanna pay BIG money. I got mine after it had been standing for 10 months... For peace of mind I fired it straight in for a big service - ALL fluids, plugs, clearances etc etc. And mine has been down the road too. Mechanically, all good. Just not too "pretty"!! Also keep an eye in the for sale section and don't neglect the wanted section too, mate! Above all, enjoy the thing! :)
