hi guys,

new here , racing an old rsv in the no budget cup and in need of parts , suspension, pc3 and wheels if anyone can help !

Not so much new but returning. After a moment of madness 12 months ago I went out and purchased myself a brand new Harley Davidson 883 Iron and sold my RSV after owning 2 of them for 4 years. Fast forward 12 months and I've been and put a deposit down on an MY06 RSV and sold the Harley YAY!!!! Pick her up on Wednesday! How glad am I that I didn't sell my leathers and the rest of my kit. Dragged it out of the loft and it all still fits like a glove. I'm just looking forward to getting out on it now. The Harley was fun but in a different way. :)

I'm back once again. Got myself a brand new 2009 RSV 1000 a couple weeks ago. Exhaust and other stuff on the way now.
UPS damaged it a bit, but they are having to pay for repairs.

New to the zone so I thought it polite to say Hi to you all.
My beloved '02 was nicked in June (gits) so I've just bought another '02, matt black and lovely. Then I saw a cheapish '05 so I've gone & bought that too! It does need some work as it's been down the road and I'm after a cheap front wheel.

Hi all,

Just decided my next road bike will be my first V-twin and most importantly an RSV, currently looking at bikes from 1999 to 2003.

Previously owned ZX6R 2003 (road & track bike) and R1 1999.

Steve

good choice mate im sure your gonna love it ,i know i do. ive had a go on a few R1`s and owned a thunderace for 4 years before i bought my 2000 mille and to be very honest now i have the big V no way i would want a R1 i just love the sheer grunt and the sound you get from the big twin in and out the twisties .its a real wep and as for the handling no competition mate nothing can hang on to you .the ape is a real riders bike and you will ride it im sure..

Picked up & drove home today. Think it needs a service & tune up, standard cans on it & not sure whether on map 1 or 2 but have put on a pair of cored stubby Aprilia cans on tonight so will try out tomorrow.

Leaking fuel from the filler cap, not sure how this can occur, does anybody have any ideas on how to possibly cure.

Hi everybody,
I'm Bart.
I'm from the Netherlands and own a 2000 RSV Mille.
Unfortunatly a colleague of mine crashed my bike 4 weeks ago, and I've been waiting since for parts to be ordered, and fixed to be riding the thunder again.
Being renewed the bike will be equiped with a MIVV full titanium oval silencer ( weird name...silencer!?! ) and custom written dr.Rossi Eprom since the Arrow "silencer" which was on it, was damaged too.
Tires will go as well, since I ride the bike for commuting ( 'bout 450km a week ) I will put some Pilot Roads 2 on it.

So keep you informed.

Hi All
I'm Adz, aged 38 and live in the East Midlands UK
I've owned my Busa for over 5 years but fancy a change, so i'm looking at a 53 plate RSV factory at the weekend.
I commute 130 miles a day on my ZZR600, so the Aprilia will be for fun (hopefully)
Cheers
Adz

Hi All

I'm Sid aged 45 and bought myself an 08 RSVR in June having always had Jap 4's previously. Haven't stopped grinning since I picked the bike up. Have just fitted double bubble screen, shorty levers and Akrapovics and am sure there will be some more tweeks in the coming months :)

Hi, I'm Talan, just got hold of a 2001 RSVR. Have been 'track daying' with my GSXR750K7 for the past two years and just started racing Hill-climbs/Sprints/Twisty Sprints with an SV650. Also set up a charity called The Bike Experience, which teaches disabled/injured motorcyclists how to ride again. If you have this weeks MCN, then Chris Dabbs has just done a two page article about the charity (page 24-25) as he was one of my first pupils. Always looking for spare kit - leathers, gloves, boots. Also looking for volunteers to help act as launch crew at the events, normally on a Wednesday at Castle Combe during their track days. Cheers Talan.
