Hi. I have a Caponord 1200 for about a year now. Love it and very happy with it. Some might be comparing this bike with the BMW XR 1000. As a previous owner I leave my opinion for the good and the bad. I also owned a couple other bikes I'll post bellow in case you want a comparison.
The XR is a superbike with a trail position, it just begs to go fast. However it's comfortable, if you are above 120km/h. It does have a vibration around 80 km/h that is very annoying and it is terrible for commuting as it is always feeling like it wants to jump. And you can't stop speeding and beeing a hooligan. All the owners I knew with the bike sold it saying: "It's going to kill me".
The Caponord is more comfortable and has enough power. Better in city, but less stable in the twisties (XR is on rails).
Looks and sound depends on the person.
This is just my 50cts, feel free to disagree.

- What the XR has best: cruise control (10x), ease of using the dials, brakes, power, cornering
- What the Caponord beats the XR: usability, comfort.
