Neeps on Bikes

Is a 94 mile round trip (and 2 x ferry rides) to
Morrisons in Fort William from where we stay...... Or we could pop to the village shop... 18 mile round trip! :lol
Taken my mother, two brothers and their family's and even the out laws up to stay but to be honest it was too quiet for some folk, but my family love it. done some great walks near Strontian, envy ya nielmac:hail

It is a pain when yer trying to do some DIY and the nearest place for bits is the Fort. Makes you plan ahead though, or just not do it at all :). Looking forward to a great summer on the T. Hopefully I'll be seeing some of you passing this way (just don't tell the rest of them ;-).

Squatepantz, whereabouts did you stay? I agree, there are some great walks around here. It makes up for the horizontal rain. It's good today though, just off for a run on the bike now, maybe stop at the Ardgour for a pint.:thumbup

Glenbay cottages just past Glenborrodale, used to have the use of a boat on the loch with crab pots aplenty.... Loved it.
I'm 1st generation born below the highlands so I try to pop back up to see family when I can....
Stayed up at Glen affric last year but the lads always ask when we off back to your neck of the woods.
I must add after 20 odd years my wife still can not get over the fact we get such a warm welcome in the homes of complete strangers just because we share the same forefathers, only in Scotland....
My sons are proud of their heritage which also makes me proud.
Work permitting I'd be up there with ya in a heartbeat. Rob(squatepantz)
