I have the 2000.5 model mille, if I don't go above 75mph I can get 186mpg till the light comes on, but normal riding ie 70-120+mph I get about 125mpg till the light comes on. My bike has the standard 20litre tank. Track riding the mpg does drop to about 28mpg.
There seems to be something weired going on with these milles all models since 2000 have got slower and use more fuel, I guess it's all to do with the emissions. either way they are a very good bike and wouldn't change mine for ought newer. My bike is sort of standard with only airfilter mods.
