Yeah been to sign on for my triathlon today and weather coming back was *****. Weather doesn't look good for the race either

I've looked on Met Office and Metcheck and they both show sunshine and clouds for the South West tomorrow, rain tonight and tomorrow night, but dry in the day.

As I'm a glass half full kind of dude I reckon we'll be fine :thumbup:thumbup

See yas tomorrow, just got to have the willpower not to neck too many of these cans of Krony ! :biggrin

Cloudy and a bit blowy here in Bris, but sun keeps making an appearance. Forecast looks pretty good, so let's bring some Italian thunder to Exmoor!! :thumbup:thumbup

Cracking ride today. Not too much rain (worst shower while we were munching fish and chips in Lynmouth), bloody windy though. At one point I was accelerating flat out in 3rd with the front going light when a gust of wind caught my front wheel and gave me a proper arse-crimping moment.

Roads were covered in gravel and wet leaves, I guess we all had a fair few slides and "oh shiiiiit" moments.....

Cheers to shotgun for organising the ride and for the coffee in Dunster. :thumbup

The one pisser of the day was when Windy's mate Keith binned his very tidy YZF750 ('93, owned from new) on a bend. We'd all stopped to regroup and wondered where he'd got too, when shotgun gets a call from his mate to say man down.

We all shoot off back the way we came (a bit steadier than before....) to find Keith all in one piece luckily, but his YZF looking very secondhand with smashed plastics and only one headlight. After all the broken plastics were snapped off or ziptied together to stop them flapping around he was able to ride home, with a sore arse being the only injury. He'd slid across the road and onto grass. He'd have got away with scuffs and scrapes were it not for a bleedin' great rock that took his front end out. Hopefully he'll be able to source replacement bits off ebay.

Cheers for today fellas , next time i will order better weather !!!
Lets hope keiths *** aint too sore ! did slow us down a tad though ...
Dont think ive ridden in such windy conditions , as Gilo said ..... was a bit gusty on top of the hill !!!

:thumbup. Hey Shotgun, thanks for sorting that trip out, some bloody good roads, pity it must have pissed down overnight cause those B roads were covered in crap, kept us on our toes though.. i spoke with Kieth when i got back ,he's ok ,gonna call his insurance tmw, i think he's suitably gutted, as gilo said he's had the thing for 18 years. time for a newer bike tite ol git, he'd like a T but is too much of a short arse... what did the damage to his bike was a bleeding gurt boulder that had been put on a grass verge,[to stop people parking i spose] in the middle of nowhere.. lucky he never hit it...

Excellent day today chaps, thoroughly enjoyed it, even the wet roads and gravel etc etc ( keeps you on your toes and hones your riding skills )
Big thanks to Sean for organising it, and i have to say the fish and chips at Lynmouth were superb.....MMMMMMMMM
Shame about Keiths little off but at least he's ok, thats the main thing..
Who's up for an evening track blast at Castle Coombe ???

been given some duff information from a mate of mine G, phoned the track and was told that they don't, and never have done, evening trackdays !! Sorry bout that...

I did wonder as I'd never heard of sessions there. No worries anyway mate.
